On 12 Oct 04 Deputy Sheriff Evans initiated
a traffic stop on State Route 7 near mile post fifty after
observing the vehicle he was following weave in its lane of
travel and nearly driving off the right side of the road. Deputy
Evans noticed an odor of alcohol as he spoke with the driver
Deborah A. Moser, age 27, 521 Second Street, New Matamoras
and requested she perform a series of field sobriety tests.
Following a poor performance on field sobriety tests, Ms. Moser
was placed under arrest for OVI. Ms. Moser was additionally
charged with possession of drugs after Deputy Evans found marijuana
in her purse inside the vehicle and transported to the Washington
County Jail.
On 12 Oct 04 Joel Potter, age 24, 1135 Browns
Road, Marietta, reported he was affronted by a neighbor complaining
of tire tracks in his yard. Despite the neighbor’s fulmination
against him, Mr. Potter declined to pursue the matter further
(586).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Deborah Ann Moser, age 27, 521 Second Street,
New Matamoras, for OVI, possession of drugs and for driving
outside the marked lanes of travel, all misdemeanors. Moser
was arrested on State Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 12 Oct 04 at 3:00 am.
Brian Keith Roberts, age 32, Route 1 Box 140C,
Amesville, for a felony charge of violating the terms of his
parole and misdemeanor charges of operating without a license
and for disobeying a traffic control device. Roberts turned
himself in at the Sheriff’s Office to Deputy Sheriff
Simmons and was processed into the Washington County Jail on
12 Oct 04 at 3:10 pm.
Christopher Shaw McMannis, age 35, State Route 60, Beverly,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. McMannis
turned himself in at the Sheriff’s Office to Lt. Canavan
and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Oct
04 at 3:35 pm.
Kenneth Ray McIntire Jr., age 38, Marietta, for burglary,
a felony. McIntire was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Chapman
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 12 Oct 04 at 8:20 pm.
