On 8 Oct 04 Jim Rodgers, age 45, 3592 School
House, Little Hocking, reported between the evening of 24 Sep
and the morning of 25 Sep, an unknown suspect(s) caused damage
to his mailbox. This case remains under investigation (592).
On 8 Oct 04 Deputy Sheriff Evans initiated
a traffic stop at the intersection of State Route 7 and County
Road 10 after observing the vehicle he was following travel
outside the white fog line then across the centerline while
the driver attempted to turn on to County Road 10. The driver
of the vehicle, Scott A. Fouss, age 42, 3480 Dalzell Road,
Whipple, admitted consuming several alcoholic beverages earlier
in the evening and performed poorly on subsequent field sobriety
tests. Accordingly, Deputy Evans arrested Mr. Fouss for OVI
and transported him to the Washington County Jail.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
David Wayne Wriston, age 20, 687 Wynncrest
Drive, Marietta, for two counts of violating the terms of his
probation, both misdemeanors. Wriston was arrested on Quarry
Street in Marietta by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City
Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 8 Oct 04 at 2:40 am.
Richard Daniel Gill, age 42, 4310 Dalzell
Road, Whipple, for violating the terms of his probation, a
misdemeanor. Gill was arrested in Whipple by Detective Jenkins
of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 8 Oct 04 at 3:08 pm.
Lonnie E. Perdew III, age 49, 2809 ½ 28th Street, Parkersburg,
for operating with an expired or no operator’s license,
failure to obey the right of way, failure to appear and for
contempt, all misdemeanors. Perdew was arrested on US 50 by
the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 8 Oct 04 at 3:15 pm.
Scott Anthony Fouss, age 42, 3480 Dalzell Road, Whipple, for
.08 breath OVI and for having an inoperable license plate light,
both misdemeanors. Fouss was arrested on State Route 7 near
Blue Knob Road by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 8 Oct 04 at 11:15 pm.
