On 6 Oct 04 a sixteen year old Warren High School student reported while she attended band practice that afternoon, her cellular phone and cash were stolen from her purse she left inside the school. This case remains under investigation (684).

On 6 Oct 04 Bret W. Gramkow, age 44, 113 Elm Street, Belpre, reported when he visited 1111 State Route 339, Belpre, to remove a satellite dish from a storage building he discovered the hasp and lock were pried off the door. No items from inside the storage building appear to be missing. This case remains under investigation (200).

On 6 Oct 04 Jacquelyn S. Crites, age 50, 560 Eyermann Road, Belpre, reported a neighbor began taunting her the previous afternoon. The neighbor, Pamela D. Campbell, age 33, 555 Eyermann Road, continued a barrage of profanities while attempting to provoke Ms. Crites into a fight. As a result of further investigation Deputy Sheriff Brockmeier requested a summons for Ms. Campbell for disorderly conduct.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

William Logan Schofield, age 43, 2837 Blennerhassett Avenue, Belpre, for contempt of a court order, a felony. Schofield was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Patrolman Heddleston of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 Oct 04 at 1:00 pm.

Randall McRae Styer, age 48, 1185 Zion Ridge Road, Marietta, for felony charges of rape and corruption of a minor and a misdemeanor charge of violating a court ordered protection order. Styer was arrested at his residence by Detective Kapple of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 Oct 04 at 4:00 pm.
