On 5 Oct 04 Mike A. Armstrong, age 34, 4140 School House Road, Little Hocking, reported an unauthorized individual in British Columbia, Canada incurred a $2,575 debt on one credit card and made a change of address on another charge card. This case remains under investigation (684).

On 5 Oct 04 Joel P. Eaton, age 35, 1610 Bender Road, Marietta, reported keys to a Kawasaki ATV, a 1977 Jeep and a Craftsman lawnmower have been stolen from his property during the last week. This case remains under investigation (684).

On 5 Oct 04 Lt. Huffer and Sgt. Hiatt were dispatched to 216 Fifth Street Extension, Lowell, in response to a domestic dispute. Upon their arrival Elizabeth A. Bishman, age 20, informed the Deputies she and her live-in boyfriend Dale R. Wiggins Jr., age 23, were involved in an argument during which Mr. Wiggins punched several holes in the wall. Ms. Bishman further detailed how Mr. Wiggins slapped her and shoved her as she attempted to escape via a window. As a result of their investigation Sgt. Hiatt arrested Mr. Wiggins for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail where he was released on a personal recognizance bond.

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Rocky A. Hockenberry, age 45, Route 2 Box 245, Lower Salem, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $218.40.

Hoy D. McCormick, Boaz Gardens Apt. 10, Williamstown, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $577.46.

Jessica M. Parsons, age 20, 44 Williamson Avenue, New Matamoras, for an act of domestic violence on 26 Jan 04.

Harry L. Stutz, age 44, 1239 Eastwood Avenue, Akron, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $199.03.

Tonya R. Taylor, age 22, 3010 Camden Avenue Apt. E, Parkersburg, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $510.90.

David W. Wriston, age 20, 687 Wynncrest Drive, Marietta, for failing to appear to serve twenty days in jail on 10 Sep 04.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Daniel Eugene Burton Jr., age 24, 535 Joe Skinner Road, Belpre, for driving under an FRA suspended license and for failing to obey a traffic control device, both misdemeanors. Burton was arrested on State Route 7 in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Eddy and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Oct 04 at 1:45 am.

Mark Francis Porter, age 44, PO Box 195, Waterford, for .08 breath OVI, for not wearing a seat belt and for failing to obey a traffic control device, all misdemeanors. Porter was arrested at the intersection of Seventh and Putnam Streets in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Oct 04 at 2:40 am.

Christopher Charles Lee, age 33, PO Box 77, Belmont, WV, for violating the terms of his probation and for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, both misdemeanors. Lee was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Oct 04 at 10:30 am.

Jerry Alfred Wright, age 23, 185 Woodlawn Avenue, Belpre, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Wright was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Clevenger of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Oct 04 at 12:32 pm.

Brian Shane Watson, age 37, 228 Alder Ridge Road, Belpre, for negligent homicide, a misdemeanor. Watson turned himself in to Deputy Sheriff Simmons and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Oct 04 at 12:45 pm.

Daniel Ray Hickman, age 19, 313 Blennerhassett Avenue, Belpre, for violating the terms of his parole, a felony. Hickman was arrested at the office of Juvenile Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail 5 Oct 04 at 3:45 pm.

Alan Densmore Mills, age 41, 263 Ash Circle, Davisville, WV, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Mills was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Ketelsen and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Oct 04 at 4:35 pm.

James Robert Busch, age 23, 26935 State Route 7 Lot 1C, Marietta, for felony charges of forgery, theft, passing bad checks and telecommunications fraud and misdemeanor charges of forgery and failure to appear. Busch was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Oct 04 at 6:45 pm.

Dale Robert Wiggins Jr., age 23, 216 Fifth Street, Lowell, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Wiggins was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Oct 04 at 8:30 pm.
