On 4 Oct 04 Ronald B. McMillan, age 50, 2804 Beach Drive Lot 68, Belpre, reported between 9 pm on 28 Sep and noon the next day an unknown suspect(s) entered his flood swollen home and stole his twenty-five inch Zenith television. This case remains under investigation (592).

On 4 Oct 04 Deputy Sheriff Simmons investigated a single vehicle crash in the parking lot of Beverly Feed and Equipment in Beverly. Anthony T. Offenberger, age 30, 15200 Muskingum River Road, Lowell, was dumping a load of lime from his tractor-trailer when the load in the trailer shifted, causing the vehicle to roll onto its side. Mr. Offenberger suffered minor scratches and his vehicle sustained moderate damage.

On 4 Oct 04 Traci L. Schaad, age 29, 304 Maple Street, Marietta, reported between 18 Sep and 4 Oct an unknown suspect(s) entered her former residence at 208 Fourth Street in Lowell and stole a karaoke machine, two books of Flintstone checks and some personal belongings. This case remains under investigation (1184).

On 4 Oct 04 Shane F. Carpenter, age 33, 1308 Williamson Avenue Apt. 5F, New Matamoras, reported between 3 am and 10 am that morning, two Red Devil winches, a set of bolt cutters, three Mercury Cougar aluminum rims, a toolbox containing various tools and an oxygen and acetylene torch were stolen from the back of his work truck. This case remains under investigation (1203).

James R. Busch, age 23, 10 Browns Road Apt 9A, Marietta, for telecommunications fraud, passing bad checks, for three counts of theft and seven counts of forgery all felonies.

Brandon O. Chambers, age 22, 1703 East 33rd Street, Lorain, OH, for a felony charge of possession of marijuana and a misdemeanor charge of improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle.

Geoffrey A. Davis, age 48, 15590 State Route 555, Cutler, for felonious assault and for a felony charge of abduction.

Eric D. Jett, age 22, address unknown, for breach of his recognizance bond, a felony.

Marcus Johnson, age 23, 316 Union Street, Springfield MA, for a felony charge of possession of marijuana and a misdemeanor charge of improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle.

Brandon Lincoln, age 18, 101 Westview Avenue, Marietta, for felonious assault and for aggravated burglary, a felony.

Jesse D. Patterson, age 18, 101 Westview Avenue, Marietta, for aggravated robbery and robbery, both felonies.

John J. Sparks, age 32, address unknown, for robbery and for three counts of robbery, all felonies.

Randy Styer, age 48, 101 Westview Avenue, Marietta, for rape and for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, both felonies.

Terry L. Hagan, age 41, 3112 West 96th Street, Cleveland, for failing to appear for arraignment on an indictment pending for possession of drugs.

Jessica L. Erb, age 23, Boaz Gardens #37, Williamstown, for failing to appear for a probation violation hearing on 22 Sep 04.

Jeremy R. Gatrell, age 25, 404 Lincoln Street, Middleport, OH, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $88.40.

Jason A. Harguess, age 33, 7708 North Route 78, Reinersville, OH, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to keep in contact with the probation department, for failing to complete counseling and for failing to show proof of restitution as ordered by the court.

Michael A. Henry, age 230 South Avenue, Franklin, OH, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $266.50.

Michael W. Metz, age 24, Route 2 Box 479B, St. Marys, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $182.

Brian T. Sawyer, age 24, 313 Ross Road, Little Hocking, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to obtain a valid operator’s license by 27 Sep 04.

Matthew Schwalbach, age 19, 141 York Street, Circleville, OH, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $169.

Todd Schweitzer, 702 Victoria Avenue, Williamstown, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $211.15.

Justin R. Shirley, age 23, 410 Cornerville Road, Reno, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $144.30.

James S. Wilcox, age 27, 156 Turkey Hollow Road, Cutler, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $559.

David W. Wriston, age 20, 687 Wynncrest Drive, Marietta, for failing to appear to serve ten days in jail on 2 Jul 04.

David Allen Bayless, age 29, 288 Ridgewood Court Apt. E, Marietta, for driving under an FRA suspended license and for having an inoperable license plate light, both misdemeanors. Bayless was arrested on US 50 in Belpre by Patrolman Williams of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Oct 04 at 4:05 am.

John Aaron Givens, age 23, for violating the terms of his parole, a felony. Givens was arrested on US 50 in Belpre by Probation Officer Carson and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Oct 04 at 4:05 am.

Shawn Lane Pierce, age 26, 655 Green Street, Newport, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Pierce was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Probation Officer Hamilton and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Oct 04 at 9:35 am.

Jodi Lynn Schofield, age 23, 220 Sixth Street Apt. B, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Schofield was arrested at the Four Seasons in Marietta by Probation Officer Hamilton and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Oct 04 at 4:15 pm.

Justin Allen Harris, age 22, 2550 State Route 60, McConnelsville, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Harris was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Oct 04 at 5:40 pm.
