On 2 Oct 04 Dan Rowley, age 53, 1165 Cole-Coffman
Road, Marietta, reported between late Friday evening and Saturday
morning an unknown suspect(s) entered his and his daughter’s
vehicles and stole an amplifier, two speakers and a Jensen
CD player. This case remains under investigation (586).
On 2 Oct 04 Martin A. Carney, age 28, 195
McGill Road, Vincent, reported he and his wife witnessed an
individual they recognize, pouring a granular substance into
the gas tank of their vehicle. This case remains under investigation
(1203).
On 2 Oct 04 Allen Porter, age 37, 11765 State
Route 676, Vincent, reported when he arrived at his business
on Sparling Road that afternoon, he observed an unauthorized
individual in a well house he owns across the street. This
case remains under investigation (200).
On 2 Oct 04 a vehicle pulled in to 2620 Sealy
Ridge Road, Vincent, where Deputy Sheriff Evans was conducting
a follow up investigation. Deputy Evans began interviewing
the driver and resident of the address, Justin R. Holland,
age 22, and noticed an odor of alcohol. Mr. Holland admitted
consuming alcohol and performed poorly on subsequent field
sobriety tests. As a result, Deputy Evans arrested Mr. Holland
for OVI and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Duane Franklin Perdue Jr., age 45, 270 Green
Street, Newport, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Perdue
was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Oct 04 at 1:30
am.
Rocky Dustin Huck, age 23, 20330 State Route 60, Beverly,
for OVI, failure to register and for littering from a motor
vehicle, all misdemeanors. Huck was arrested on State Route
60 in Beverly by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 2 Oct 04 at 3:35 am.
James Christopher Brumley, age 18, 619 Tenth Street, Marietta,
for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Brumley was arrested
at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 2 Oct 04 at 10:30 am.
Aaron Freeman Farnsworth, age 19, 122 Harmar Street, Marietta,
for the underage consumption of alcohol and for three counts
of failure to appear, all misdemeanors. Farnsworth was arrested
at his residence by Patrolman Hively of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
2 Oct 04 at 11:45 am.
Amanda Dawn Wharton, age 23, 229 Oakwood Avenue, Marietta,
for driving under a suspended license and for breach of recognizance,
both misdemeanors. Wharton was arrested in Marietta by Sgt.
Hiatt of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 2 Oct 04 at 12:45 pm.
Michael Lewis Leibrand, age 41, 2914 Washington Boulevard,
Belpre, for .17 breath OLVI and for contempt of a court order,
both misdemeanors. Leibrand was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman
Morris of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 2 Oct 04 at 8:00 pm.
Justin Ray Holland, age 22, 2620 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent,
for .08 breath OVI, a misdemeanor. Holland was arrested at
his residence by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 2 Oct 04 at 8:20 pm.
