On 27 Sep 04 Barbara E. Beegle, age 53, 712 Front Street, New Matamoras, reported between 22 and 27 Sep, a perpetrator with a penchant for pigs pilfered from her porch a black and white concrete pig. This case remains under investigation (1184).

On 27 Sep 04 an employee of Dalzell Cash and Carry, 8233 County Road 11, Lower Salem, reported when he arrived to open the store that morning he discovered an unknown suspect(s) cut the padlock to the business’s outside cooler and stole eighteen cases of Budweiser and Bud Light and four cases of Corona. This case remains under investigation (500).

On 27 Sep 04 Deputy Sheriff Eddy was dispatched to the scene of an altercation at 329 State Route 145 in Lower Salem. Gretchen Mace, age 19, 18001 State Route 676, Marietta, stated she was meeting her seventeen year old ex-boyfriend at the aforementioned address to return some of his belongings when he began banging on the top of her car. Ms. Mace exited her vehicle and swung at her ex-boyfriend in an attempt to thwart him from hitting her car. The two wrestled to the ground before bystanders intervened and Ms. Mace then left the scene. As a result of his investigation Deputy Eddy requested summonses for Ms. Mace for disorderly conduct and for her seventeen year old ex-boyfriend for being delinquent.

On 27 Sep 04 Mark Staffer, age 29, 300 Starlite Drive, Marietta, reported between 11 am Sunday morning and 9 am Monday, an unknown suspect(s) forcibly entered his home and stole three rifles, a compound bow and a three drawer Craftsman toolbox containing assorted tools. This case remains under investigation (1190).

Polly E. Oblisk, age 50, 43580 State Route 145, Louisville, OH, for failing to appear to serve 180 days in jail on 3 Sep 04.

Amanda M. Wilson, age 31, 8320 Ford Road, Norwood, NC, for driving under a suspended license and speeding on 24 Apr 02.

Temisan G. Adoki, age 20, 112 Fourth Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to keep in contact with his probation officer, for not reporting to court ordered community service and for not making monthly fine payments as ordered by the court.

Joseph M. Grodhaus, age 27, Route 2 Box 185 Waterford Needs Acres, Waterford, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $937.70.

Andrew C. Leonard, age 33, 445 Lakeview Drive, Vincent, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $620.10.

James L. Mantz, age 62, Route 5 Box 359, Marietta, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $383.50.

Linda L. Miller, age 52, 8377 State Route 144, Stewart, for having a firearm in a motor vehicle and for disorderly conduct on 31 Aug 04.

Allen L. Staten, age 28, 7772 Kilpatrick Drive, Uhrichsville, OH, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $65.

Stephen P. Wagner, age 35, 5115 State Route 821, Marietta, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $756.60.

Tabitha Way, age 22, 1910 Ross Road, Little Hocking, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $1,057.67.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Michael Glen Underwood, age 31, 1085 Lynch Church Road, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Underwood was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Sep 04 at 1:15 am.

Bryan Eugene Sturm, age 36, 37321 State Route 145, Lower Salem, for contempt, a misdemeanor. Sturm was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Sep 04 at 9:44 pm.
