In the early morning hours of 18 Sep 04 in a drunken haze, Jacob W. Nixon, age 31, 125 Millers Lane Apt. B6, Marietta, stated two individuals outside the Locker Room bar approached him and offered to drive him home in his vehicle. Being too intoxicated to drive, he accepted the offer and fell asleep upon returning home. As the alcohol metabolized and after he awoke at 7 that morning, Mr. Nixon’s keys and his 1986 Chevy were missing. This case remains under investigation (1203).

On 18 Sep 04 Charles Schilling, age 35, 875 Masonic Park Road Lot 10, Marietta, reported his brother in law entered his residence with a rottweiler and an attitude around 4:00 that afternoon. When asked to take the dog outside Mr. Schilling stated his brother in law started yelling and began punched him until his mother separated them. This case remains under investigation (500).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Lorne Pernell Gaskins, age 43, 1215 Putnam Howe Drive, Belpre, for domestic violence, a felony. Gaskins was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Morris of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Sep 04 at 6:10 am.

Ronald Scott Science, age 38, 627 Seventh Street, Marietta, for assault, a misdemeanor. Science was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Wharton of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Sep 04 at 7:29 pm.
