On 15 Sep 04 Mike Moore, age 44, 1470 Killwell
Run Road, Marietta, reported the office of Moore’s Paving
at 1070 Gravel Bank Road, Marietta, was forcibly entered and
the desk and filing cabinet were tipped over. This case remains
under investigation (684).
On 15 Sep 04 Stephanie DeVaughn, age 40, 202
Walnut Drive, Marietta, reported between 8 am and 9 pm Tuesday,
an unknown suspect(s) forcibly entered a locked room in her
home and stole a Pentax 35mm camera and an assortment of her
prescription medication. This case remains under investigation
(501).
On 15 Sep 04 Tira S. Thompson, age 41, 423
Schwendeman Road, Lowell, reported, in violation of a protection
order, her ex-husband has been passing messages to her through
an intermediary. This case remains under investigation (200).
On 15 Sep 04 Kristen N. Hughes, age 18, 345
Mill Street, Waterford, reported between 7 am and 3:30 pm that
day, one of four individuals temporarily staying in her home
may have stolen a silver ring, an ATM card, two pairs of shoes,
eighteen CD’s and miscellaneous clothing. This case remains
under investigation (200).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Justin Michael Gossett, age 23, 407E Spring
Street, Marietta, for criminal damaging/endangering, driving
under a suspended license, failure to signal, failure to appear
and for possession of drugs, all misdemeanors. Gossett was
arrested on Seventh Street in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 15 Sep 04 at 4:15 am.
Keith Allen Drake, age 18, 1014 ½ Hadley Lane, Marietta,
for being a delinquent child, a misdemeanor. Drake was arrested
at his residence by Juvenile Probation Officer Summers and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Sep 04 at 11:40
am.
David Allen Sayres, age 39, 497 Stanleyville Avenue, Columbus,
for felony charges of contempt of a court order, breach of
recognizance, theft, receiving stolen property and theft and
misdemeanor charges of violating the terms of his probation
and for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines. Sayres was picked up in Columbus by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Sep 04
at 2:20 pm.
David Lloyd Lawson, age 31, 30958 Durst Ridge, Portland, OH,
for a felony and misdemeanor charges of drug possession. Lawson
was arrested on State Route 50 by Patrolman Smeeks of the Belpre
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 15 Sep 04 at 2:25 pm.
John Edward Gandy, age 56, 117 Leslie Drive, Scott Depot,
WV, for driving under a suspended license and for speeding,
both misdemeanors. Gandy was arrested on Interstate 77 by the
Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 15 Sep 04 at 6:14 pm.
Aurelio Perez, age 44, 1324 March Street Apt. 1, Kalamazoo,
MI, for violating the 55 mph commercial speed limit, a misdemeanor.
Perez was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15
Sep 04 at 9:49 pm.
