On 13 Sep 04 Shana D. Iery, age 34, 6180 Waterford
Road, Marietta, reported while a family member was driving
her from Beverly to Lowell, he became angry after she phoned
her ex-fiancé and punched her in the left side of her
face. This case remains under investigation (1071).
On 13 Sep 04 Robert D. Hart, age 40, 109 Creek
Street, St Marys, WV, reported his ex-wife allegedly abused
their fifteen year old daughter while visiting her mother
this past weekend. An investigation by Deputy Sheriff Simmons
concluded
the juvenile was injured while wrestling with relatives in
her mother’s back yard.
On 13 Sep 04 Sgt. Hiatt and Deputy Sheriff
Evans responded to the scene of a domestic dispute at 1308
Williamson Avenue Apt. 1F in New Matamoras. A seventeen year
old resident of the home informed the Deputies her mother Sandra
K. Felton, age 41, came home intoxicated and instigated a fight,
during which she was slapped and punched several times. In
the seventeen year old’s bedroom, where the altercation
took place, Deputy Evans observed a broken glass and an unknown
liquid on the wall. After confirming the seventeen year old’s
account of the incident with her boyfriend, Deputy Evans arrested
Ms. Felton for domestic violence and transported her to the
Washington County Jail.
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Aaron F. Farnsworth, age 19, 122 Harmar Street,
Marietta, for three counts of violating the terms of his probation
by failing to appear for a scheduled intake meeting on 25 Aug
04, for failing to be in his assigned residence at curfew time
and for failing to report a change of address within twenty-four
hours.
Matthew A. Hickin, age 33, 1878 Hebbardsville
Road, Albany, OH, for breach of recognizance for failing to
appear for a jury trial on 24 Aug 04.
Brian S. Watson, age 37, PO Box 52 Scott Avenue, Belpre, for
negligent homicide for negligently causing the death of another
by means of a deadly weapon or dangerous ordnance on 5 Jul
04.
Jonas W. Miller, age 22, 207 Aurora Street Apt. C, Marietta,
for aggravated burglary and for felonious assault, stemming
from an incident on 10 Sep 04.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Daren Earl Moore, age 24, Star Route 138,
New Matamoras, for criminal damaging/endangering and for failure
to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, both
misdemeanors. Moore was arrested on Pike Street in Marietta
by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Sep 04
at 12:15 am.
Sandra Kay Felton, age 40, 1308 Williamson Avenue Apt. 1F,
New Matamoras, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Felton
was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 13 Sep 04 at 2:20 am.
William Lee Price Jr., age 45, 649 Hopocan
Avenue, Barberton, OH, for driving under an FRA suspended license,
a misdemeanor. Price was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio
State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 13 Sep 04 at 5:40 pm.
Roy Dean Schmidt, age 45, 855 Browns Road, Marietta, for passing
bad checks, a misdemeanor. Schmidt was arrested on State Route
7 in Reno by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Sep 04
at 6:40 pm.
Richard Henry Haught Jr., age 44, 513 Smith Street, Marietta,
for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Haught was arrested
on Green Street in Marietta by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 13 Sep 04 at 10:16 pm.
Tyler Nathaniel Bailey, age 23, 520 McDonald Street, Wooster,
OH, for failure to appear, a felony. Bailey was arrested at
Colonial Terrace in Marietta by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 13 Sep 04 at 11:55 pm.
