Road, Marietta, reported her Motorola cellular phone was stolen
from her kitchen while she was away for two hours Saturday
afternoon. This case remains under investigation (586).
On 7 Sep 04 John D. Mayer, age 56, 609 Seventh
Street, Marietta, reported the license plate off his 1985 Buick
Skylark was stolen while parked at the Park and Ride lot on
State Route 339 in Belpre between 2 and 6 Sep. This case remains
under investigation (586).
On 7 Sep 04 an employee of Degussa Engineered
Carbons, 11169 State Route 7, Belpre, reported cardboard boxes
and other refuse was dumped on the company’s property
between 3 and 5 Sep. This case remains under investigation
(490).
On 7 Sep 04 James T. Smith Jr., age 53, 1278
Bender Road, Marietta, reported between 4 and 7 Sep an unknown
suspect(s) cut through a woven wire fence along his property
at 19765 State Route 550, allowing cattle to enter the roadway.

On 7 Sep 04 Shane R. Smitley, age 29, 529
Kesselring Run Road, Newport, reported an unknown suspect stole
his Stealth MC2 wildlife camera from a property on Archer’s
Fork in New Matamoras. This case remains under investigation

On 7 Sep 04 an employee of Hemlock Fleet Services,
12379 State Route 7, Belpre, reported a payroll check was stolen
from the office and later cashed. This case remains under investigation
(1184).
On 7 Sep 04 Randall A. Labarre, age 34, 306
Front Street, Marietta, reported a junk vehicle he parked on
a friend’s property for the past eight months has gone
missing during the past week. This case remains under investigation
(792).
On 7 Sep 04 Phillip A. Watson, age 25, 108
Maple Shade Drive, Marietta, reported his landlord allegedly
had her cleaning lady move his property around his former residence
at 121 Kentucky Avenue without his permission. This case remains
under investigation (792).
On 7 Sep 04 Deputy Sheriffs Brockmeier and
Stackpole responded to the scene of a fire at 1611 Briggs Hill
Road in Belpre. The barn and Dodge Neon parked inside were
deemed total losses. This case remains under investigation
(684).
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Jason R. Allberry, age 27, 19678 Cadiz Road,
Quaker City, for contempt for failing to appear at a court
ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $284.30.
Bradley O. Gamble, age 21, PO Box 344, Waterford, for contempt
for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines in the sum of $304.20.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Richard William Slonaker, age 31, 803 Fifth
Street Apt. A, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
Slonaker turned himself in to Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 7 Sep 04 at 5:20 am.
