On 5 Sep 04 Jeff Headlee, age 46, 1685 Brackenridge
Road, Vincent, reported between 10 pm Saturday night and 9
am Sunday morning, an unknown suspect(s) threw rocks through
two windows he had leaning against the side of his residence.
This case remains under investigation (1090).
On 5 Sep 04 a member of the Barlow Blue Bells
reported an eighteen-inch tomahawk was stolen from their display
at the Washington County Fair that afternoon. This case remains
under investigation (200).
On 5 Sep 04 Larry Fouss, 1726 Highland Ridge
Road, Lowell, reported allegedly catching a former employee
stealing gasoline from his construction company’s pump
on Highland Ridge Road. This case remains under investigation
(500).
On 5 Sep 04 Sgt. Hiatt and Deputy Sheriff
Brockmeier were dispatched to 195 Turkey Knob Road, Newport,
in reference to a physical altercation. Upon their arrival,
Terry C. Bowie Jr., age 40, 429 Winters Drive, Marietta,
informed the Deputies he was involved in a fight with his girlfriend
Charlene A. Stewart, age 39, and she drove to Marietta Memorial
Hospital for treatment. Ms. Stewart stated that during an
argument
Mr. Bowie jumped on top of her, pulled her hair, and then
held down her hands. Ms. Stewart spit on him in retaliation
and
after Mr. Bowie released an arm, she slapped him. In return,
Mr. Bowie grabbed Ms. Stewart’s neck and punched her
in the jaw. As a result of their investigation, Deputy Brockmeier
arrested Mr. Bowie for assault and transported him to the
Washington County Jail where he was released on a personal
recognizance
bond.

Rachel Dawn Thomas, age 32, 110 Franklin Street,
Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor.
Thomas was arrested at the Cliffside Carryout on State Route
550 by Deputy Sheriff Brockmeier and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 5 Sep 04 at 12:30 am.
Shawn Gayle Thomas, age 35, 121 Wells Avenue, Marietta, for
OVI, driving under an OVI suspended license and for having
fictitious plates, all misdemeanors. Thomas was arrested at
the Cliffside Carryout on State Route 550 by Deputy Sheriff
Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5
Sep 04 at 12:30 am.
Daniel Charles Jaster, age 41, 1334 Housel Craft, Cortland,
OH, for OVI, for not wearing a seat belt and for driving left
of center, all misdemeanors. Jaster was arrested on State Route
821 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 5 Sep 04 at 1:50 am.
Terry Coleman Bowie Jr., age 40, 429 Winters Drive, Marietta,
for assault, a misdemeanor. Bowie was arrested in Newport by
Deputy Sheriff Brockmeier and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 5 Sep 04 at 2:45 am.
Romen Zachary D. Vandall, age 21, 124 Gilman Street, Marietta,
for disorderly conduct, aggravated trespassing and for domestic
violence, all misdemeanors. Vandall was arrested on Knox Street
in Marietta by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
5 Sep 04 at 3:15 am.
Christopher Lee Goss, age 20, 25401 Township Road 275, Lower
Salem, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Goss was arrested
on Greene Street in Marietta by Patrolman Titus of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 5 Sep 04 at 4:00 am.
Adam Justin Allphin, age 20, 608 Sixth Street, Marietta, for
the underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Allphin
was arrested at Marietta College by Officer Moon of the Marietta
College Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 5 Sep 04 at 4:20 am.
Christopher John Palmer, age 20, 116 Del Ray Drive, Marietta,
for the underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Palmer
was arrested at Marietta College by Officer Moon of the Marietta
College Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 5 Sep 04 at 4:20 am.
Joshua Allen Campbell, age 21, 314 Washington Street, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a felony. Voisinet
was arrested at Septa by Probation Officer Carson and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 5 Sep 04 at 8:59 pm.
