On 30 Aug 04 Lt. Wilson issued a citation to James R. Boyce, age 21, Route 9 Box 78B, Reno, for traveling 72 mph in a 55 mph zone. Lt. Wilson stopped Mr. Boyce on State Route 7 near Bramblewood Heights Road in Warren Township.

On 31 Aug 04 Frank Harriman, age 59, 27461 State Route 564, Lower Salem, reported after wiring $3,200 to a suspect in Virginia as payment for a vehicle on 20 May 04, the suspect has yet to deliver the vehicle. This case remains under investigation (500).

On 31 Aug 04 a New Matamoras resident reported receiving harassing phone calls from an acquaintance of her son. This case remains under investigation (500).

On 31 Aug 04 the Warren Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call reporting the smell of smoke inside a home on Bethel Road. Sgt. Underwood determined a thirteen-year-old resident of the home caused the smoke by burning paper in his room. This case remains under investigation.

On 31 Aug 04 a seventeen year old Marietta resident reported the driver’s side mirror was broken off his truck while he attended class at Warren High School that afternoon. This case remains under investigation (586).
