On 17 Aug 04 a Courthouse security guard reported a light illuminating the west side of the Courthouse was broken off its base. Further investigation by Deputy Sheriff Simmons determined the light was accidentally damaged by inmates on work release while mowing the lawn.

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Tracy L. Wilson, age 36, 511 Mission Road, Amesville, for failing to appear to serve thirty days in jail on 4 Aug 04.

Amy J. Northrop, age 29, Route 4 Box 128C, St Marys, WV, for failing to appear for a contempt hearing on 23 Jun 04.

Julio Martinez Jr., age 23, 3619 Stickney Avenue, Cleveland, for speeding and for driving under a suspended license on 18 Jun 04.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Debra Denise McGee, age 31, 107 Jefferson Drive Apt. 5, Caldwell, for passing bad checks, a misdemeanor. McGee was arrested at in Marietta Municipal Court by Patrolman Heddleston of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Aug 04 at 9:30 am.

Robert Allen Klein, age 32, 537 Zanesville Street, Beverly, for operating without a license, a misdemeanor. Klein was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Aug 04 at 10:05 am.

Christopher Dale Reese, age 26, 134 Muskingum Drive, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Reese was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Aug 04 at 7:43 pm.

Kimberly Ann Riley, age 42, 64 Pine Aire Village, Athens, for passing bad checks, a misdemeanor. Riley was picked up in Athens County by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Aug 04 at 10:56 pm.
