On 13 Aug 04 Ricky McConnell, age 32, 1190
Mayle Ridge Road, Cutler, reported an unknown suspect threw
nails on his driveway. This case remains under investigation
(1090).
On 13 Aug 04 Lt. Wilson issued a citation to John K. Huston, age 45, 3004 Henry
Drive, Lagrange, KY, for failing to obey a red light and for improper passing
on a double yellow line. Feeling he waited for an exceptionally long time at
a red light, Mr. Huston passed a row of cars, including Lt. Wilson, and turned
right from US 50 onto Farson Street in Belpre. Ironically, the light turned
green just after Mr. Huston executed his illegal turn.
On 13 Aug 04 a sixty-three year old Belpre
woman reported discovering her fifteen year old grandson stole
and forged several of her checks. When questioned, the juvenile
admitted purchasing items using the checks and therefore issued
a summons to appear in juvenile court (1090).
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrantS:
John B. Smith, age 55, 14960 State Route 550,
Fleming, for passing a bad check for $17.76 to Napoli’s
Pizza on 24 Feb 04.
David A. Bayless, age 29, 106 Riley Drive
Apt. 4, Marietta, for failing to appear to serve three days
in jail on 2 Jul 04 and ten days in jail on 24 Jul 04.
Samuel O’Brien, age 34, 2126 Vandale Park Road, Spencer,
WV, for failing to file a list of assets and liabilities with
the court.
Cheri L. Lockhart, age 44, 1347 ½ Lynn Street, Parkersburg,
for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $274.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Charles Stanley Fox II, age 33, 725 Seventh Street,
Marietta, for violating the terms of his parole, a felony.
Fox was arrested on the Putnam Street Bridge by Patrolman Huffman
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 13 Aug 04 at 2:55 am.
David Allen Bayless, age 29, 106 Riley Drive
Apt. 4, Marietta, for a felony charge of being a fugitive from
justice and for two misdemeanor charges of failure to appear.
Bayless was arrested on Front Street in Marietta by Deputy
Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 13 Aug 04 at 3:34 pm.
Gary Lee Jackson Jr., age 22, 300 Phillips Street, Marietta,
for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors.
Jackson was arrested at the Four Seasons by Patrolman Chapman
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 13 Aug 04 at 9:45 pm.
