On 9 Aug 04 a New Matamoras resident reported his teenage daughter’s former boyfriend continues calling his residence after being asked to cease doing so. This case remains under investigation (597).

On 9 Aug 04 Jason D. Smith, age 27, 40 Mitchell Avenue, Newport, reported while visiting a friend’s home in Newport on 6 Aug, his unprovoked friend bombarded him with eight to ten punches, resulting in bruises and cuts to his head. This case remains under investigation (1203).

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Eric W. Morris, age 22, 80 Smith Drive, Marietta, for carrying brass knuckles, a concealed weapon and for consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle on 12 Jun 04.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Shawna Sue Wise, age 20, 110 Powell Drive, Parkersburg, for contempt, a misdemeanor. Wise was arrested in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Aug 04 at 9:20 am.

John Eugene Anderson, age 22, 760 Greene Street, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Anderson was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Aug 04 at 2:30 pm.

Kirk Michael Urban, age 29, 351 Everson Road, Belpre, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines and public indecency, both misdemeanors. Urban turned himself in at the Washington County Jail to Lt. Canavan of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Aug 04 at 10:40 pm.
