On 8 Aug 04 Deputy Sheriff Brockmeier investigated
a two vehicle collision in the parking lot of the Fifth Street
Church in Beverly. Deputy Brockmeier surmised that as Kelly
D. Byrne, age 28, 3132 Quinto Way, San Jose, CA, attempted to
back her rented Ford Explorer from a parking stall, she struck
the passenger side door of a perpendicularly parked Dodge Neon
owned by Christine Lemal, 309 Fourth Street, Beverly. Ms. Lemal’s
vehicle sustained moderate damage, no injuries were reported.
On 8 Aug 04 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes was dispatched
to the home of Christina J. Ward, age 27, #3 Hickory Lane, New
Matamoras, in response to a physical altercation. Mrs. Ward
stated Carol Y. Wright, age 27, Third Street, New Matamoras,
entered her home without permission and without provocation
slapped her and in the process slapped her infant son. Confirming
the chain of events with Mrs. Ward’s husband, Deputy Rhodes
arrested Ms. Wright for aggravated trespassing and two counts
of assault and transported her to the Washington County Jail.
Proximate an investigation into the theft of
gasoline from emergency vehicles at the Little Hocking Volunteer
Fire Department at 99 Tower Road, Little Hocking, that began
on 20 Jun 04, Deputy Sheriff Stackpole requested a summons for
Daniel Clatterbuck, age 37, 976 State Route 976, Little Hocking.
When questioned Mr. Clatterbuck admitted filling his personal
vehicle with two gallons of gasoline from the emergency vehicles
on the second and eighth of August 2004.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Carol Yvonne Wright, age 27, Third Street,
New Matamoras, for aggravated trespassing and for two counts
of assault, all misdemeanors. Wright was arrested in New Matamoras
by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 8 Aug 04 at 11:55 pm.
