On 6 Aug 04 Darries Smith, age 63, 2195 Layman Road, Vincent, reported an unknown suspect(s) damaged his cellar door between 5 and 6 Aug in an apparent attempt to gain entry. No items appear to be missing. This case remains under investigation (1090).

On 6 Aug 04 a forty-two year old Marietta resident reported her sixteen year old daughter, angered that she was not permitted to leave the residence and that her bother took her soda, kicked her in the stomach. As a result of his investigation Deputy Sheriff Eddy requested a summons for the sixteen year old to appear in juvenile court.

On 6 Aug 04 Lt. Wilson issued a citation to Randi S. Oliver, age 21, Route 9 Box 205 Simpson Street, Marietta, for driving under an FRA suspended license. Lt. Wilson stopped Ms. Oliver at the intersection of Greene and Acme Streets in Marietta.

On 6 Aug 04 Michelle A. Knighten, age 20, 708 Washington Square, Marietta, reported three Playstation 2 games and three DVD’s were stolen from her home during the past two weeks. This case remains under investigation (598).

Brandon Chambers, age 22, 1703 East 33rd Street, Lorain, OH, for the possession of marijuana, a Schedule I controlled substance, on 29 Jul 04.

Robert T. Bowles, age 27, 44604 County Road 23, Coshocton, OH, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to appear for a scheduled appointment.

Jennifer N. Burton, age 20, 26129 State Route 7 Lot G, Marietta, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $167.50.

Kenneth A. Casada, age 21, 115 Longacre Street, Marietta, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $476.25.

Miles M. Cottle II, age 27, 1187 Ball School Road, Parkersburg, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $305.50.

Gene D. Craig, age 21, 306 Colegate Drive, Marietta, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $2,306.90.

Jonathan J. Rager, age 29, 1856 Cameron Avenue, Parkersburg, for the unauthorized use of a Jeep Cherokee non 28 Jun 04.

Douglas D. Starcher, age 24, 15981 State Route 279, Oak Hill, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $1,168.52.

Vickie M. Thompson, age 21, 101 Franklin Street, Marietta, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $1,181.11.

Andi M. Townsend, age 31, 700 Madison Street, Nelsonville, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $850.20.

Roger L. Ward, age 26, Route 2 Box 258 Township 118, Lowell, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $3,631.80.

Shawna S. Wise, age 20, 26127 State Route 7, Marietta, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $72.80.

John W. Luke, age 43, 208 Market Street, Marietta, for second offense OVI, for failure to reinstate his operator’s license, for failure to control a motor vehicle and for not wearing a seatbelt on 10 Mar 04.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

William Ray Simers, age 44, 35 Wildwood Lake Road, Coolville, for a felony charge of having a weapon while under disability and misdemeanor charges of the improper handling g of a firearm in a motor vehicle, .08 breath OVI, possession of drugs, consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle and for violating a court ordered protection order. Simers was arrested in Belpre by Lt. Wilson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 Aug 04 at 12:24 am.

Todd Russell Moore, age 25, 522 Fifth Street, Marietta, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Moore was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 Aug 04 at 5:50 pm.

Randi Sue Oliver, age 20, 205 Simpson Street, Marietta, for driving under an FRA suspended License, a misdemeanor. Oliver was arrested on Phillips Street in Marietta Lt. Wilson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 Aug 04 at 8:30 pm.
