On 31 Jul 04 Deputy Sheriff Evans issued a
citation to Christina L. Crampton, age 25, 4007 Mills Road,
Sharpsburg, MD, for traveling 74 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy
Evans stopped Ms. Crampton on State Route 7 near County Road
10 in Warren Township.
On 31 Jul 04 Lt. Wilson initiated a traffic
stop on State Route 7 near mile post twelve in Belpre after
observing the vehicle he was following travel out of its marked
lane and over the white edge line. Given permission to search
the vehicle by the driver, Lt. Wilson conducted a pat down on
the driver and front seat passenger as the exited the vehicle.
Lt. Wilson discovered a smoking pipe in the pocket of Ronald
L. Wolfe, age 32, 1133 Market Street Apt. 303, Parkersburg,
and Mr. Wolfe also informed Lt. Wilson of a small quantity of
marijuana in another pocket. In consequence Lt. Wilson arrested
Mr. Wolfe for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia and
transported him to the Washington County Jail.
On 31 Jul 04 Ronald E. Wilson, age 42, 122
Meadowcrest Lane, Little Hocking, reported an unknown suspect
obtained his personal information and used it when issued a
traffic citation in the state of Oregon. This case remains under
investigation (945).
On 31 Jul 04 David Wood, age 44, 1936 Barth
Road, Belpre, reported while he was away between 11 am and 3
pm the previous day, an acquaintance entered his home without
permission. This case remains under investigation (684).
On 31 Jul 04 Lt. Wilson initiated a traffic
stop on Washington Boulevard near Farson Street in Belpre after
observing the vehicle operating with an expired registration.
Lt. Wilson identified Bonnie S. Gribble, age 42, 363 Davisville
Road, Davisville, WV, as the driver and issued her a citation
for the offense.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Amy Renee Massey, age 23, 743 Glendale Road,
Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on
unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Massey was arrested in Marietta
by Patrolman Wenzel of the Marietta City Police Department and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 31 Jul 04 at 12:20
am.
Jeffrey Alan Theiss, age 26, 27130 State Route
7, Marietta, for OVI and failure to reinstate his operator’s
license, both misdemeanors. Theiss was arrested in Marietta
by Patrolman Wenzel of the Marietta City Police Department and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 31 Jul 04 at 12:40
am.
Ronald Lee Wolfe, age 32, 1133 Market Street
Apt. 303, Parkersburg, for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia,
both misdemeanors. Wolfe was arrested on State Route 7 by Lt.
Wilson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 31 Jul 04 at 5:15 am.
Lawrence Harold Biery, age 38, 53 Gihon Plaza,
Parkersburg, for two felony charges of carrying a concealed
weapon and misdemeanor charges of consuming alcohol in a motor
vehicle, possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia,
.08 breath OVI, operating without a license, for have fictitious
plates and for failure to maintain an assured clear distance.
Biery was arrested on Main Street in Belpre by Patrolman Davis
of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 31 Jul 04 at 5:00 pm.
