On 30 Jul 04 Deputy Sheriff Eddy investigated
a report of a juvenile missing from her Devola residence. A
towel belonging to the fifteen year old was found at a boat
ramp and after two hours of searching the juvenile appeared
with a friend. The juvenile’s father informed Deputy Eddy
he has continual problems with his daughter and she is forbidden
from leaving the residence without permission. As a result,
Deputy Eddy requested a summons for the juvenile to appear in
juvenile court for being unruly.
On 30 Jul 04 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to Jessica L. Risko, age 22, 5858 Grenshaw northeast,
Louisville, OH, for traveling 68 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy
Mankins stopped Ms. Risko on State Route 7 near Willow Island
in Newport Township.
On 30 Jul 04 Deputy Sheriff Evans initiated
a traffic stop on State Route 7 near County Road 10 after observing
a vehicle traveling 76 mph in a 55 mph zone. While speaking
with the driver, Sara Rena Kiser, age 31, 1205 Wyatt Lane, Belpre,
Deputy Evans detected a strong odor of alcohol and requested
Ms. Kiser submit to field sobriety tests, on which she performed
poorly. Along with speeding and OVI Deputy Evans charged Ms.
Kiser with three counts of child endangering due to the presence
of her five, three and two year old children in the vehicle.
Ms. Kiser was arrested and transported to the Washington County
Jail where she was released on a personal recognizance bond.
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Thomas J. Cline, age 29, 110 Shady Lane, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation by failing to appear
for a scheduled appointment.
Amber Lowers, age 23, 905 Cisler Lane, Marietta,
for theft for exerting control of cash and Ohio Lottery tickets
valued at $388.69 without the consent of the owner of the Beer
Barn.
Brenton D. Metz, age 20, 4100 School House
Road, Little Hocking, for violating the terms of his probation
by failing to appear for a scheduled appointment, for failing
to report a change of address within twenty-four hours, and
for failing to perform supervised community service or make
restitution payments as ordered by the court.
Aubrey G. Radcliffe, age 47, 4000 Walburn Avenue,
Cleveland, for violating the terms of his probation by failing
to show proof of completing a driver’s intervention program
or getting an assessment for counseling as ordered by the court.
Ryan S. Stein, age 29, 1595 Eighth Street,
Cuyahoga Falls, OH, for violating the terms of his probation
by failing to show proof of obtaining a valid driver’s
license or to appear to serve three days in jail.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Kenneth Dwayne Varnado Jr., age 18, 805 Warren
Avenue, Belpre, for .02 breath underage OVI, a misdemeanor.
Varnado was arrested in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Jul 04 at
1:55 am.
Rickey Eugene Somerville, age 47, Marietta,
for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Somerville
was arrested at the Arbors in Marietta by Patrolman McCracken
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 30 Jul 04 at 2:10 am.
Marcus Wayne Allen, age 25, 764 Briggs Hill
Road, Belpre, for two misdemeanor charges of failure to appear.
Allen was arrested on State Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Stackpole
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Jul 04 at
2:15 am.
Daniel Ray Hickman, age 19, 312 Scott Avenue,
Belpre, for offenses committed as a juvenile, a misdemeanor.
Hickman was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Bichard
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Jul 04 at
5:30 pm.
Richard McCroy, age 53, 308 Second Street,
New Matamoras, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines and for child endangering, both misdemeanors.
McCroy was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Mankins
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Jul 04 at
7:25 pm.
Sara Rena Kiser, age 31, 1205 Wyatt Lane, Belpre,
for .08 breath OVI, speeding and child endangering, all misdemeanors.
Kiser was arrested on State Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Evans
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Jul 04 at
8:30 pm.
Tony Cameron Hendrickson, age 34, 124 Walnut
Street, Belpre, for violating the terms of his probation, a
felony. Hendrickson was arrested in Vincent by Lt. Coppernoll
of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 30 Jul 04 at 11:45 pm.
