On 24 Jul 04 Deputy Sheriff Evans met with
Lori Woodruff, age 37, 1055 Woodruff Road, Vincent, at the intersection
of Woodruff Road and State Route 339. Mrs. Woodruff informed
Deputy Evans she left her residence after a domestic dispute
with her husband Jeffrey, age 39. Deputy Evans learned an intoxicated
Mr. Woodruff began chasing around his son when his wife intervened.
Angered, Mr. Woodruff grabbed his wife by the neck and forced
her head to the top of the kitchen counter. As Mrs. Woodruff
escaped to her vehicle with her children Mr. Woodruff exited
the home wielding a broom and cursing. Based on his investigation,
Deputy Evans arrested Mr. Woodruff for domestic violence and
transported him to the Washington County Jail.
On 24 Jul 04 an employee of Par Mar #14, 66
Arrowhead Road, Little Hocking, reported the driver of a white
Ford Explorer, license number DAZ5286, drove off without paying
for five dollars of eighty-seven octane gas. This case remains
under investigation (200).
On 24 Jul 04 Veronica D. Lanham, age 33, 50
Millers Lane, Marietta, reported between 11:30 pm Friday and
12:30 am Saturday, an unknown suspect entered her unlocked home
without permission and broke the rear window of her Dodge Intrepid.
This case remains under investigation (1184).
On 24 July 04 Lt. Wilson initiated a traffic
stop on State Route 7 near County Road 20 after observing the
vehicle he was following swerve wildly in and out of its lane
of travel and striking the curb on one occasion. While speaking
with the driver, Jennifer Grimes, age 30, Tennis Center Drive
Apt. 12, Marietta, Lt. Wilson noticed a strong odor of alcohol
and requested Ms. Grimes perform field sobriety tests. While
Ms. Grimes performed poorly on the tests Deputy Sheriff Gherke
found an open bottle of vodka in the vehicle which Ms. Grimes
admitted consuming. Lt. Wilson arrested Ms. Grimes for .17 breath
OVI, driving outside the marked lanes of travel, driving under
an OVI suspended license, for having an open container in a
vehicle and transported her to the Washington County Jail.
On 24 Jul 04 Deputy Sheriff Evans was dispatched
to the home of a victim of a domestic dispute at 13120 State
Route 676 in Waterford. Nicole Lowers, age 26, stated an argument
ensued while she was driving her boyfriend home from a drinking
establishment after a day of imbibing libations. As Ms. Lowers
attempted to stop her boyfriend, Todd W. McCutcheon, age 37,
805 Curry Road, Waterford, from entering his residence, Mr.
McCutcheon punched her in the face. Rising from the ground,
Ms. Lowers again tried to impede and Mr. McCutcheon punched
her in the face three or more times. In consequence to his investigation
Deputy Evans arrested Mr. McCutcheon for domestic violence and
transported him to the Washington County Jail where he was released
on a personal recognizance bond.

Todd Wilson McCutcheon, age 37, 805 Curry Road,
Waterford, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. McCutcheon
was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Gherke and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 24 Jul 04 at 1:20 am.
Jennifer Lee Grimes, age 30, Tennis Center
Drive Apt. 12, Marietta, for .17 breath OVI, driving outside
the marked lanes of travel, driving under an OVI suspended license,
for having an open container in a vehicle and for violating
the terms of her probation, all misdemeanors. Grimes was arrested
on State Route 7 by Lt. Wilson of the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Jul
04 at 3:10 am.
Shaun Wesley Sturm, age 19, 100 Cisler Lane
Apt. A4, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered
hearing on unpaid fines and for failure to appear, both misdemeanors.
Sturm was arrested at Glendale Park in Marietta by Patrolman
Walters of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 24 Jul 04 at 9:41 am.
Jeffrey James Woodruff, age 39, 1055 Woodruff
Road, Vincent, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Woodruff
was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 24 Jul 04 at 8:40 pm.
Jeffrey Lynn Boehm, age 46, 434 Douglas Avenue,
Marietta, for domestic violence, a felony. Boehm was arrested
at his residence by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
24 Jul 04 at 10:35 pm.
Jamie Kay Hess, age 39, 1808 Sealey Ridge Road,
Vincent, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Hess turned herself
in to Sgt. Jobes of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office
and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Jul
04 at 11:25 pm.
