On 18 Jul 04 Paula Westfall, age 38, 25 Hickory
Street, Warner, reported several children found two syringes
without needles and a spoon as they were playing in the vicinity
of Hickory Street in Warner. Lt. Coppernoll then took control
of the found items and placed them in evidence for safekeeping.
On 18 Jul 04 Deputy Sheriff Stackpole intervened
in a domestic dispute at 56 ½ Patten Mills Road in Bartlett.
Phillip D. Gage, age 31, stated an argument with his wife Jessica,
age 23, began at the conclusion of a small party at the couple’s
residence. Affronted for no apparent reason, Mrs. Gage began
shouting and punched her husband three twice in the chest. Mr.
Gage left the residence momentarily and on his return Mrs. Gage
continued yelling and again punched her husband in the chest.
In consequence to his investigation Deputy Stackpole arrested
Mrs. Gage for domestic violence and transported her to the Washington
County Jail.
On 18 Jul 04 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to Mitchel W. Cooper, age 21, 813 West Fourth Street,
Marietta, for operating with license plates that expired in
February of 2004. Deputy Mankins stopped Mr. Cooper at the intersection
of Pike and Seventh Streets in Marietta.
On 18 Jul 04 Deputy Sheriff Evans issued a
citation to Joshua R. Mulligan, age 18, 302 Florence Street,
Belpre, for traveling 79 mph in a 60 mph zone. Deputy Evans
stopped Mr. Mulligan on US 50 near State Route 618 in Belpre
Township.
On 18 Jul 04 Deputy Sheriff Evans issued a
citation to Kristina L. Depaolo, age 24, 318 Carriage Hill Drive,
Athens, for traveling 80 mph in a 60 mph zone. Deputy Evans
stopped Ms. Depaolo on US 50 near State Route 339 in Belpre
Township.
On 18 Jul 04 Deputy Sheriff Mankins responded
to the scene of an assault at 1560 Pleasants Ridge Road in Marietta.
The home’s resident Greg R. Robinson, age 43, stated when
his live-in girlfriend’s son, Marc Crockett, age 24, 1210
Colonial Drive, Marietta, came to pick up his daughter, whom
Mr. Robinson and his girlfriend were babysitting, Mr. Crockett
became upset and began punching Mr. Robinson in the face. After
Mr. Robinson fell to the ground, Mr. Crockett commenced kicking
Mr. Robinson. As a result of the attack Mr. Robinson suffered
several cuts to his head and two black eyes. In consequence
Deputy Mankins requested a warrant for the arrest of Mr. Crockett
for assault.
On 18 Jul 04 a thirty-five year old Vincent
woman reported an acquaintance threatened and made unwanted
sexual advances toward her. This case remains under investigation
(1203).
On 18 Jul 04 Marvin C. Hanger, age 53, 11445
State Route 339, Vincent, reported a snap hook was broken off
a gate leading to his grazing field and as a result eleven cows
escaped. This case remains under investigation (1203).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Jason Ross Poling, age 22, 2508 Rock Run Road,
St Marys, for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, both
misdemeanors. Poling was arrested at Kinderhook Park by Deputy
Sheriff Mankins processed into the Washington County Jail on
18 Jul 04 at 12:10 am.
Jack Lynn Watson, age 30, 17th Street, Parkersburg,
for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines,
a misdemeanor. Watson was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman
Chapman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 18 Jul 04 at 12:25 am.
Jessica Lynn Gage, age 23, 56 ½ Patten
Mills Road, Cutler, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Gage
was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Stackpole and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Jul 04 at 6:10
am.
Matthew Richard Warehime, age 23, 1234 Putnam
Howe Drive, Belpre, for violating the terms of his probation,
a misdemeanor. Warehime was arrested at his residence by Deputy
Sheriff Rhodes and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 18 Jul 04 at 12:35 pm.
Valerie Lynn Garrett, age 46, 127 Sixth Street,
Williamstown, for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor.
Garrett was arrested on Wayne Street in Marietta by Patrolman
Ellenwood of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 18 Jul 04 at 3:00 pm.
Thomas Robert Voisenet, age 23, 601 Montgomery
Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of his parole, a felony,
and for the illegal manufacturing or cultivation of drugs, a
misdemeanor. Voisenet was arrested at his residence by Patrolman
Wright of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 18 Jul 04 at 7:30 pm.
