On 30 Jun 04 Sandi Shea, age 35, 616 Fourth Street, Marietta, reported while her car was parked in front of 501 Cisler Lane, an unknown suspect(s) may have thrown paint stripper on the front of her vehicle, causing the pain to curl off. This case remains under investigation (598).

On 30 Jun 04 Tina L. Noland, age 34, 604 Washington Square, Marietta, reported after giving Johnathan J. Rager, age 29, 1856 Cameron Avenue, Parkersburg, permission to use her vehicle for an hour on 28 Jun, Mr. Rager had not returned the vehicle. Later that day Deputy Sheriff Huck learned the Vienna (WV) Police Department cited Mr. Rager for operating without a license and impounded Ms. Noland’s vehicle. Deputy Huck informed Ms. Noland of the status of her vehicle and requested a summons for Mr. Rager for the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

On 30 Jun 04 Linda D. Gray, age 51, 1125 Bells Run Road, Newport, reported an acquaintance was intoxicated and may have used a twelve gauge shotgun to shoot a hole in his vehicle. Deputy Sheriff Simmons located the acquaintance’s vehicle and confiscated the shotgun for safe keeping. This case remains under investigation.

Robert L. Boylen, age 23, 36947 Township Road 291, Lower Salem, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $292.

Ryan S. Stein, age 29, 1595 Eighth Street, Cuyahoga Falls, OH, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $270.

Brent A. Carpenter, age 27, 204 Franklin Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to obtain a valid operator’s license within 120 days as ordered by the court.

Brian D. Hess, age 28, 836 Pike Street, Marietta, for failing to appear to serve ten days in jail beginning on 18 Jun 04.

Vanessa C. Kremer, age 50, 930 Bramblewood Heights Road, Marietta, for failure to keep her dog physically confined or restrained upon her premises, having been previously convicted of this offense by the court.

Jessica M. Parsons, age 20, 809 Grandview Avenue, New Matamoras, for violating the terms of her probation by failing to report for a scheduled meeting, for failing to show proof of completing counseling and for failing to show proof of completing twenty-four hours of community service.

Calvin W. Riggs, age 20, PO Box 341, Sandyville, OH, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to show proof of payment of restitution within one year.

Stephanie L. Sklenar, age 36, 1020 North Street, Caldwell, for violating the terms of her probation by failing to report for a scheduled meeting and for failing to show proof of payment of restitution or payment of fines in full.

Matthew R. Warehime, age 23, 242 Pennsylvania Avenue Apt. 3, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to obtain a valid operator’s license within 90 days or to appear to serve three days in jail on 2 Jun 04.

Robert E. Carpenter, age 30, Route 6 Box 323, Marietta, for criminal damaging for damaging a field on Fearing Township 37 with his vehicle and for driving under an FRA suspended license on 30 Jun 03.

Larry R. Eddleblute, age 62, PO Box 83, Coal Run, for failing to confine or restrain a dog and for not affixing a tag to his dog.

Gary A. Hager, age 61, 1328 Greene Street, Marietta, for breach of recognizance for failing to appear for a pretrial hearing on 23 Jun 04.

Thomas E. Malone, age 25, 305 Blennerhassett Avenue, Belpre, for domestic violence, for causing a family member to believe she was in imminent physical harm on 25 Oct 03.

John B. Smith, age 55, 14960 State Route 550, Fleming, for failing to file an application for registration of his dogs on 2 Jun 04.

April D. Goodwin, 2100 Hill Street Apt. E, Belpre, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $104.

Russell T. Lang, age 38, 109 Vermont Avenue, Lynchburg, VA, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $605.

David S. Runyon, age 39, 816 Derrer Road, Columbus, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $405.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

William David Metz, age 39, 603 Main Street, Belpre, for OVI, a misdemeanor. Metz turned himself in at the office of Probation Officer Ketelsen and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Jun 04 at 10:05 am.

Curtis Scott McGregor, age 25, 115 Holiday Drive, Marietta, for receiving stolen property, a felony. McGregor was arrested on Front Street in Marietta by Detective Schuck of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Jun 04 at 11:30 am.

Claude Jimmie Drew, age 37, 2314 Pride Avenue, Clarksburg, WV, for driving under suspension and speeding, both misdemeanors. Drew was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Jun 04 at 8:27 pm.
