On 29 Jun 04 Heather A. Sammons, age 33, 1817 Layman Road, Vincent, reported since her husband left for work at 5:30 am, he failed to show up for work and has not contacted her. Mr. Sammons returned home early in the evening and indicated he experienced car trouble (490).

On 29 Jun 04 Deputy Sheriff Brockmeier located a suspect wanted by the Athens County Sheriff’s Office at a residence in Washington County. Deputy Brockmeier took the suspect into custody and turned him over to Athens County at the county line.

On 29 Jun 04 the owner of Auto Mart, 25901 State Route 7, Marietta, reported a passing vehicle spun its tires, causing flying gravel to chip the windshields of four vehicles. This case remains under investigation (690).

On 29 Jun 04 Kristin Campbell, age 22, 3635 Bear Creek Road, Lowell, reported between 4:30 and 9:30 pm Monday, an unknown suspect(s) entered her home and stole a Playstation 2, a DVD player and approximately forty DVDs. This case remains under investigation (1203).

On 29 Jun 04 Deborah A. Little, age 42, 545 Coal Run Road, Marietta, reported between Sunday morning and Tuesday evening an unknown suspect(s) threw a brick through the glass of a storm door at the back of her home. This case remains under investigation (1184).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Joshua Richard Davis, age 27, 852 Greene Street Apt. 1, Marietta, for menacing, a misdemeanor. Davis was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Titus of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Jun 04 at 2:10 am.

Cleveland Jeffery Bedgood, age 28, Marietta, for aggravated burglary and assault, both felonies. Bedgood was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail in Charleston by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Jun 04 at 4:30 pm.

Jimmie Joe Carpenter, age 44, 811 Sixteenth Street, Parkersburg, for domestic violence, a felony. Carpenter was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail in Charleston by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Jun 04 at 4:30 pm.

Eric Daniel Moore, age 25, 91 Third Avenue, Middleport, OH, for violating the terms of his probation, a felony. Moore was picked up at the Middleport Police Department by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Jun 04 at 7:45 pm.
