On 24 Jun 04 an employee of Smith Concrete, 3095 State Route 618, Belpre, reported receiving two bad checks totaling $1,833 from the same business in April of this year. This case remains under investigation (232).

On 24 Jun 04 Tom N. Lent, age 50, 1701 Stanleyville Road, Whipple, reported an unknown suspect(s) disposed of four trash bags in Duck Creek on 22 Jun. This case remains under investigation (1203).

On 24 Jun 04 Patricia D. Huffer, age 70, 103 Shamrock Drive, Marietta, reported since April an unknown suspect obtained her credit card number and used it to make several unauthorized purchases. This case remains under investigation (232).

On 24 Jun 04 Alex Z. Foster, age 37, 565 Ridgewood Boulevard, Belpre, reported between midnight and 8 am that morning an unknown suspect(s) threw eggs at his car, covered it with toilet paper and wrapped it in plastic wrap. This case remains under investigation (232).

On 24 Jun 04 Robert R. Dietrich, age 61, 3347 Warren Chapel Road, Marietta, reported as he was driving his vehicle on Warren Chapel Road, an acquaintance ran to the side of the road and kicked the door of the vehicle as it passed. The recoil of the kick caused the acquaintance to tumble and roll into the ditch line. This case remains under investigation (232).

On 24 Jun 04 Deputy Sheriff Huck issued a citation to Phillip O. Rush, age 36, West Montgomery Street Lot 26, Marietta, for possessing an open container of alcohol. Deputy Huck issued the citation after observing Mr. Rush walking around Dawes Circle carrying an open can of beer.

The Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Richard R. Cole, age 41, PO Box 8, Reno, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on an order to show cause.

Brian K. Bednarski, age 37, 3728 Erin Avenue, Cleveland, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to show proof of completing court ordered counseling or to appear to serve a mandatory nine day jail sentence on 21 Jun 04.

Michael D. Blind, age 25, 1985 Main Street Apt. 443B, Stockport, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to appear for a scheduled meeting and for failing to complete an intervention program and/or court ordered counseling.

Matthew K. Burke, age 33, 1416 Hocking Road, Belpre, for driving under an FRA suspended license on 24 May 04.

Gary A. Hager, age 61, 1328 Greene Street, Marietta, for OVI, operating without a license, having expired registration and for failing to obey traffic control lights on 29 May 04.

Edward H. Krogman, age 47, address unknown, for failing to notify the Sheriff’s Office of a change of residence as required by being a registered sex offender.

James S. Wilcox, age 36, 156 Turkey Hollow Road, Cutler, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to appear for a scheduled meeting, for failing to complete an intervention program and for failing to respond to a certified letter ordering him to appear.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

James Eugene Hughey, age 40, 429 Winters Road, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Hughey was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Eddy and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Jun 04 at 12:01 am.

Trent Edward Stevens, age 28, 908 Fourth Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a felony. Stevens was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Hawkins of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Jun 04 at 2:40 am.

Krystal Michele Lincoln, age 39, 209 Elm Street, Marietta, for possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Lincoln was arrested at her residence by Detective Nohe of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Jun 04 at 3:30 am.

Paul Alan Lincoln, age 39, 209 Elm Street, Marietta, for possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Lincoln was arrested at his residence by Detective Nohe of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Jun 04 at 3:30 am.

Robert Allen Courtney, age 18, Marietta, for theft and receiving stolen property, both misdemeanors. Courtney was arrested in Beverly by Patrolman Oliver of the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Jun 04 at 2:05 pm.

Tisha Elaine Emerick, age 34, 95 Shady Hill Road, Marietta, for passing bad checks, a misdemeanor. Emerick was arrested at her residence by Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Jun 04 at 6:00 pm.
