On 22 Jun 04 Lt. Canavan issued a citation to James A. Betts, age 44, 1600 Collins Road, Whipple, for traveling 68 mph in a 55 mph zone. Lt. Canavan stopped Mr. Betts at milepost eight on State Route 60 in Muskingum Township.

On 22 Jun 04 Lt. Canavan issued a citation to Mike E. Allen, age 42, 2053 Lowell Ridge Road, Lowell, for having an expired registration. Lt. Canavan stopped Mr. Allen at milepost two on State Route 60 in Muskingum Township.

On 22 Jun 04 Lt. Huffer and Sgt. Hiatt met with Ramona Neville, age 64, 14519 State Route 339, Waterford, regarding a domestic dispute with Ms. Neville’s estranged live-in boyfriend Jorge L. Contreras, Sparling Farm Cottage, Waterford. Ms. Neville stated the two were arguing in her vehicle as she drove Mr. Contreras and a friend to his residence. Along County Road 32 Mr. Contreras became upset and twice slapped Ms. Neville, grabbed at her legs and attempted to usurp the steering wheel to pull the vehicle off the road. Stopping in the road, Mr. Contreras and his friend disembarked the vehicle and as Ms. Neville drove off Mr. Contreras threw a bottle, damaging the rear window of the vehicle. Sgt. Hiatt contacted Mr. Contreras at his residence, arrested him for domestic violence and criminal damaging and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

On 22 Jun 04 the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Robert A. Courtney, age 18, Marietta, for receiving stolen property and theft.

Daniel R. Hickman, age 19, 72 Lubeck Apt. 10, Parkersburg, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to inform his probation officer of a change in his address.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Jorge Luis Contreras, age 33, Sparling Farm Cottage, Waterford, for domestic violence and criminal damaging, both misdemeanors. Contreras was arrested in Lowell by Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Jun 04 at 4:40 am.

Eric Delbert Jett, age 21, 350 Elk River Road, Clendenin, WV, for complicity in the illegal manufacturing of drugs, a felony. Jett was arrested at Food 4 Less by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Jun 04 at 12:45 pm.

Joseph Scott Waychoff, age 23, Box 40 Lewis Station, Clio, WV, for complicity in the illegal manufacturing of drugs, a felony. Waychoff was arrested at Food 4 Less by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Jun 04 at 12:45 pm.

Timothy Keith Waychoff, age 21, Box 40 Lewis Station, Clio, WV, for complicity in the illegal manufacturing of drugs, a felony and theft, a misdemeanor. Waychoff was arrested at Food 4 Less by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Jun 04 at 12:45 pm.
