In the early hours of 20 Jun 04, Sgt. Hiatt and
Deputy Sheriff Eddy were dispatched to 840 Pike Street Apt.
39, Marietta, to speak with the apartment’s resident Ashley
N. Wynn, age 24. Thereupon speaking with the victim, Ms. Wynn

Ms. Wynn stated she was awakened in her apartment when her deranged

apartment in a state of disarray with a chair knocked over and
shards of glass on the floor. While Ms. Wynn received treatment
at Marietta Memorial Hospital for serious injuries suffered
as a result of the assault, Mr. Bedgood attempted to contact
her again via cell phone. In consequence Deputy Eddy requested
warrants for the arrest of Mr. Bedgood for felony charges of
aggravated burglary and felonious assault. The vehicle Mr. Bedgood
was driving was located outside a residence in Parkersburg where
Mr. Bedgood was apprehended by members of the Parkersburg City
Police Department. Mr. Bedgood is currently incarcerated at
the Wood County Jail under $75,000 cash bond pending extradition
