On 18 Jun 04 a forty-three year old Belpre resident
reported her sixteen year old daughter left home Friday night
without permission and had yet to return. The juvenile was located
the following day and returned to the custody of her parents
(490).
On 18 Jun 04 an employee of the Dockside Tavern,
47410 State Route 7, Beavertown, reported an unknown suspect(s)
entered the business between 1 am and 5:30 am that morning and
stole a large sum of cash and eight cartons of cigarettes. This
case remains under investigation (296).
On 18 Jun 04 Marandia Blouir, age 23, 2245 Silver
Globe Road, Marietta, reported Nathaniel Elder, age 25, 940
Layman Road, Vincent, had the natural gas turned off at her
residence in violation of a court ordered protection order.
Subsequent to an investigation Deputy Sheriff Malone requested
a summons for Mr. Elder for violating said order.
On 18 Jun 04 Barbara Casada, age 39, 1405 Pike
Street Apt. B, Marietta, reported an acquaintance entered the
business where she works after having been previously asked
not to enter the business. This case remains under investigation
(597).
On 18 Jun 04, a mechanic performing repairs on
a backhoe at the behest of the Stonebridge Operating Company,
1635 Warren Chapel Road, Fleming, reported finding sugar in
the fuel filter of the vehicle that was parked near County Road
20 in Fleming. This case remains under investigation (1090).
On 18 Jun 04 an agent with the Ohio Department
of Agriculture reported a Washington County resident falsified
information on an auctioneer application. This case remains
under investigation (1090).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
James Edward Taylor, age 38, 3313 Marion Street,
Marietta, for possession of drugs, a misdemeanor. Taylor was
arrested at his residence by Patrolman Titus of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 18 Jun 04 at 3:30 am.
Randi Sue Oliver, age 20, 836 Pike Street Apt. 3, Marietta,
for criminal mischief, a misdemeanor. Oliver was arrested
at
Sierra Apartments by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 18 Jun 04 at 9:55 pm.
