On 10 Jun 04 a twenty-one year old Marietta resident reported an acquaintance continues to call her and make derogatory comments after being asked not to do so. As a result Sgt. Hiatt requested a summons for Natalie Weckbacher, age 21, 13480 State Route 60, Lowell, for telephone harassment.

On 10 Jun 04 Lt. Wilson issued a citation to Tambra M. Fayad, age 39, 607 Cherry Avenue Apt. F, Williamstown, for traveling 61 mph in a 45 mph zone. Lt. Wilson stopped Ms. Fayad on State Route 7 near Eagle Fireworks in Marietta Township.

On 10 Jun 04 Mary Mason, age 59, 785 Swift Road, Waterford, reported the lock on a door to her home was damaged in an apparent attempt to gain entry. The attempt was unsuccessful; no items appear to be missing. This case remains under investigation (586).

On 10 Jun 04 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes investigated a two vehicle collision in the parking lot of Kardex on State Route 7 in Marietta Township. Renee L. Kilburn, age 53, 29704 Township Road 241, Lewisville, OH, was backing into a parking stall when the ball trailer hitch on her Ford F-250 struck the front of a Chevy Cavalier owned by Brandee K. Carney, 125 Sharon Street, Marietta. Ms. Kilburn’s vehicle escaped unscathed while Ms. Carney’s vehicle sustained minor damage.

On 10 Jun 04 Cindy McKenzie, age 52, 2901 Barth Road, Belpre, reported two teenage girls allegedly opened several mailboxes on her street and strewn the mail about in a number of neighboring yards. This case remains under investigation (698).

On 10 Jun 04 Deputy Sheriff Eddy was dispatched to the home of Miranda Gamble, age 19, 15577 Muskingum River Road, Waterford, in response to an act of domestic violence. Mrs. Gamble stated during an argument her husband of one month Bradley, age 21, slapped her. Mrs. Gamble then escaped and locked her husband out of the house but he eventually gained entry and punched her in the kidney area. Consequently Mr. Gamble was arrested for domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail where Deputy Eddy requested he remain without bond.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Duane Donald Christenson, age 50, 3332 Dunkirk Way, Aurora, CO, a fugitive from justice, a felony. Christenson was arrested at the Econo Lodge in Marietta by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Jun 04 at 12:25 am.

Bradley Oran Gamble, age 21, PO Box 344, Waterford, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Gamble was arrested at Subway in Barlow by Deputy Sheriff Eddy and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Jun 04 at 10:05 pm.
