On 6 Jun 04 Deputy Sheriff Jenkins initiated a
traffic stop on County Road 3 near milepost fourteen in Dunham
Township after observing the vehicle he was following travel
to the left of the centerline. In speaking with the driver Deputy
Jenkins observed Ryan L. Williams, age 29, 7755 Veto Road, Belpre,
had bloodshot eyes and smelled of alcohol. Mr. Williams admitted
consuming alcohol and performed poorly on subsequent field sobriety
tests. Based on his observations Deputy Jenkins arrested Mr.
Williams for driving left of center and OVI and transported
him to the Washington County Jail where he was released on a
personal recognizance bond.
On 6 Jun 04 Deputy Sheriff Evans issued a citation
to Andrew J. Mauk, age 21, 725 South Remington Road, Bexley,
OH, for traveling 90 mph in a 60 mph zone. Deputy Evans stopped
Mr. Mauk on US 50 near Farson Street in Belpre Township.
On 6 Jun 04 Sgt. Underwood issued a citation to
Meredith A. Casey, age 23, 115 Rembrandt Drive, Butler, PA,
for traveling 75 mph in a 55 mph zone. Sgt. Underwood stopped
Ms. Casey on State Route 7 near milepost thirteen in Dunham
Township.
On 6 Jun 04 Dianne Robinson, age 47, 205 Oak Drive,
Little Hocking, reported between 10 am and 1:30 pm on the same
day, her license plate, number AE50XX, was stolen while her
vehicle was parked at her residence. This case remains under
investigation (597).
On 6 Jun 04 Patricia Schaad, age 29, 181 McNeal
Road, Waterford, reported while she and her husband were driving
home from a party in Wingett Run the previous evening, her husband
Douglas, age 30, began yelling as they drove along State Route
26. Mrs. Schaad then pulled the car to the side of the road
and Mr. Schaad struck her in the right side of her face. Determining
Mrs. Schaad was in fear for her safety, Deputy Sheriff Norman
arrested Mr. Schaad for domestic violence and transported him
to the Washington County Jail

were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Ryan Lee Williams, age 29, 7755 Veto Road, Belpre,
for .17 breath OVI and driving left of center, both misdemeanors.
Williams was arrested in Dunham Township by Deputy Sheriff Jenkins
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 Jun 04 at
3:15 am.
Douglas David Schaad, age 30, 181 McNeal Road,
Waterford, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Schaad was
arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Norman and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 6 Jun 04 at 3:45 pm.
