On 3 Jun 04 Sgt. Hiatt and Deputy Sheriff Gherke
were dispatched to Buckeye Trailer Park at 26127 State Route
7, Marietta, to investigate a dispute between two neighbors.
Both parties concur that an argument over a CD player escalated
into a physical altercation in which Jennifer N. Burton, age
20, Lot G, struck Teresa G. Wise, age 32, Lot F, in the head
with a telephone. In retaliation Ms. Wise walloped Ms. Burton
in the head with a beer bottle. Both women were arrested for
disorderly conduct by fighting and transported to the Washington
County Jail where they were released on personal recognizance
bonds.
On 3 Jun 04 an employee of Warren Local Schools
reported receiving a threatening phone call pertaining to the
suspension of a student. This case remains under investigation
(1203).
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Jamie A. Schafer, age 24, 152 North Cedar Street,
Newark, OH, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered
hearing on an order to show cause on 10 May 04.
Christina G. Baker, age 23, 280 Indian Run Road,
Marietta, for disorderly conduct and for breach of recognizance
for failing to appear before the court for arraignment on 5
May 04.
Michael D. Slonaker, age 20, 502 ½ Broadway
Avenue, New Matamoras, for menacing.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Harvey Lee Felton Jr., age 25, 1308 Williamson
Avenue, New Matamoras, for OVI and speeding, both misdemeanors.
Felton was arrested on State Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Jenkins
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Jun 04 at
3:05 am.
Joe Neil Hilson, age 59, 7344 Garnett Avenue Apt.
217, Broken Arrow, OK, for operating without a commercial operator’s
license and for speed exceeding the commercial limit, both misdemeanors.
Hilson was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Jun
04 at 5:24 am.
Timothy James Thorne, age 35, 1416 Hocking Road,
Belpre, for two counts of drug possession and one count of trafficking
in drugs, all felonies. Thorne turned himself in and was processed
into the Washington County Jail on 3 Jun 04 at 11:35 am.
Hannah Jane Ball, age 22, 1890 Cats Creek Road,
Lowell, for contempt of a court order, a misdemeanor. Ball was
arrested at Wal-Mart by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 3 Jun 04 at 7:00 pm.
Jennifer Nichole Burton, age 20, 26127 State Route
7, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by fighting, a misdemeanor.
Burton was arrested at the Buckeye Trailer Park by Deputy Sheriff
Gherke and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Jun
04 at 7:45 pm.
Teresa Gale Wise, age 42, 26127 State Route 7,
Marietta, for disorderly conduct by fighting, a misdemeanor.
Wise was arrested at the Buckeye Trailer Park by Deputy Sheriff
Gherke and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Jun
04 at 7:50 pm.
