On 18 May 04 an employee of Siemer Distributing
Company, 1400 Commerce Drive, New Lexington, OH, reported on
two days in March, the business received two bad checks from
a business in Washington County totaling $415.90. This case
remains under investigation (8411).
On 18 May 04 Jill Slonaker, age 38, Cole-Coffman
Road, Marietta, reported receiving harassing phone calls, in
violation of a protection order, from her estranged husband
Jonathan, age 33, 294 Salster Road, Marietta. Thereafter, Deputy
Sheriff Rhodes requested a summons for Mr. Slonaker for violating
the protection order.
On 18 May 04 an employee of Adelphia Cable Vision,
10280 State Route 550, Vincent, reported an unknown suspect(s)
damaged a door in an attempt to gain entry into the business.
No items appear to be missing, this case remains under investigation
(232).
On 18 Mar 04 Sgt. Jobes responded to the home
of a thirty-seven year old Cutler resident who tried to harm
himself. The individual was uncooperative and would not allow
emergency personnel to assist him. The individual was transported
to Camden Clark Hospital for treatment and served with charges
of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
On 18 May 04 Carl Perry, age 54, 8998 State Route
550, Vincent, reported the property line belonging to his sister
at State Route 550, Vincent, is being damaged by his sister’s
neighbors riding four wheelers. This case remains under investigation
(232).
On 18 May 04 the mother of a fifteen year old
Warren High School student reported, without permission, her
daughter left school yesterday and has not been heard from since.

On 18 May 04 an employee of Hilltop Auto Wrecking,
975 Blue Knob Road, Belpre, reported receiving a bas check in
the amount of $53.75 on 3 May 04. This case remains under investigation
(8411).
On 18 May 04 Deputy Sheriff Norman issued a citation
to Matthew C. Stuchel, age 23, 135 Mound Drive, Marietta, for
traveling 52 mph in a 35 mph zone. Deputy Norman stopped Mr.
Stuchel on Millers Lane near Brandy Drive in Marietta Township.
On 18 May 04 Bonita Loving, age 37, Gates Green
Apt. C3, Marietta, reported an acquaintance allegedly stole
sixty methadone tablets and over $300 in cash from her purse
while an overnight guest at her residence. This case remains
under investigation (1291).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Frank Vernon Hafner, age 42, 4571 Laurel Ridge
Road, Lowell, for driving under suspension, a misdemeanor. Hafner
was arrested on State Route 60 by Officer Perry of the Lowell
Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 18 May 04 at 10:05 pm.
