On 17 May 04 Deputy Sheriff Norman issued a citation
to Michael T. Ruscitto, age 52, 5107 Glenbrook Drive, Vienna,
WV, for traveling 74 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Norman stopped
Mr. Ruscitto on State Route 7 near Bells Run Road in Newport
Township.
On 17 May 04 Deputy Sheriff Spencer issued a citation
to Cathy Jo West, age 41, 181 Cave Hill Road, Little Hocking,
for driving under a suspended license. Deputy Spencer stopped
Ms. West on State Route 555 near Twin Bridges Road in Belpre
Township after noticing Ms. West failed to display her Ohio
license plate on the front of her vehicle.
On 17 May 04 Agnes Y. Rose, age 76, 953 Collins
Road, Little Hocking, reported within the last week, an unknown
suspect(s) hurled several rocks through a front window of the
Porterfield Community Building at 305 Hamrick Lane, Belpre.
This case remains under investigation (232).
On 17 May 04 Teri M. Lee, age 31, 11535 State
Route 821, Lower Salem, reported subsequent to returning home
from a shopping trip, discovered a wooden stand was missing
from inside her home. Recognizing the suspect, a neighbor informed
Ms. Lee that she witnessed Steven Wagner, age 34, lurking about
the house. Mr. Wagner, against whom Ms. Lee has a protection
order, was arrested for violating the protection order and transported
to the Washington County Jail.
On 17 May 04 a twenty-two year old Cutler resident
reported receiving harassing phone calls from her ex-boyfriend.
The complainant desired not to pursue the matter further (698).

Office received the following warrant:
Christina G. Baker, age 22, 280 Indian Run Road,
Marietta, for criminal damaging, as charged by Deputy Sheriff
Kapple on 16 Mar 04.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Matthew Louis Fourman, age 26, 814 Warren Street,
Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Fourman was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Ketelsen
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 May 04 at
1:02 pm.
Steven Paul Wagner, age 34, 11535 State Route
821, Lower Salem, for violating a protection order, a misdemeanor.
Wagner was arrested at the Sheriff’s Office by Deputy
Sheriff Gherke and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 17 May 04 at 11:31 pm.
