On 25 Apr 04 Sgt. Hiatt responded to a domestic violence call made by Evelyn L. Worstell, age 64, 320 Browns Road, Marietta. Ms. Worstell stated her grandson was irate that she did not wake him for a phone call from his girlfriend and punched a mirror. When questioned, Patrick D. Worstell, age 19, admitted punching the mirror and was arrested for domestic violence due to placing his grandmother in fear for her safety.

On 25 Apr 04 Courtney M. Arnold, age 21, 21 Cherry Hill Drive, Belpre, reported a six CD changer, a pair of speakers, a tape deck and a number of DVD’s were stolen from the basement of her former residence at 19 Suzanne Street, Little Hocking, where she had permission to temporarily store the items. This case remains under investigation (200).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Patrick Aaron Horner, age 20, 3341 Finkle Hill Road, Beverly, for underage consumption, a misdemeanor. Horner was arrested at Marietta College by Officer Bosworth of the Marietta College Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Apr 04 at 4:25 am.

Patrick Dean Worstell, age 19, 320 Browns Road, Reno, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Worstell was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Apr 04 at 1:30 pm.

Douglas Ray White Jr., age 32, 1946 Princeton Street, Parkersburg, for driving under suspension, a misdemeanor. White was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Morris of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Apr 04 at 9:49 pm.
