On 17 Apr 04 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes issued a citation
to Jason A. Morris, age 22, 1222 Ledgewood Drive, Akron, OH,
for traveling 72 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Rhodes stopped
Mr. Morris on State Route 821 near milepost two in Muskingum
Township.
On 17 Apr 04 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued a citation
to Joshua L. Theobald, age 18, 14980 State Route 26, Reno, for
passing a vehicle on a double yellow line. Deputy Mankins stopped
Mr. Theobald on County Road 26 near milepost twelve in Lawrence
Township.
On 17 Apr 04 Deputy Sheriff Eddy initiated a traffic
stop near milepost 6 on State Route 60 after the driver of a
Ford truck passed his parked cruiser at a high rate of speed
and continued to swerve in his lane of travel. Mark L. Duskey,
age 36, 1945 Cats Creek Road, Lowell, admitted to drinking earlier
in the evening and was uncooperative when asked to perform field
sobriety tests. Due to Mr. Duskey’s heavily slurred speech
and difficulty walking, Deputy Eddy arrested him for OVI transported
him to the Washington County Jail.
On 17 Apr 04 Ellen I. Christ, age 85, 85 Christ
Street, Belpre, reported a lawn mower was stolen from a storage
building behind her home. This case remains under investigation
(1203).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Brandy Dawn Buhrns, age 22, 624 Columbian Avenue,
Columbus, for failure to reinstate her operator’s license
and speeding, both misdemeanors. Buhrns was arrested on Interstate
77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 17 Apr 04 at 3:30 am.
John William Dearing, age 25, 12786 State Route
676, Waterford, for violating the terms of his probation, failure
to appear, rape and gross sexual imposition, all felonies. Dearing
was arrested at the Morgan County Line by Sgt. Hiatt of the
Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 17 Apr 04 at 11:40 am.
Nadine Marie Burgos, age 27, 5115 Ira Downstairs,
Cleveland, for driving under suspension and speeding, both misdemeanors.
Burgos was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Apr
04 at 8:46 pm.
Michael Larry Watkins II, age 35, 3227 School
House Road, Little Hocking, for passing bad checks, a misdemeanor.
Watkins was arrested in Belpre by Deputy Sheriff Evans of the
Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 17 Apr 04 at 10:10 pm.
