On 12 Apr 04 Allen Butcher, age 51, 1262 Sealy
Ridge Road, Vincent, reported finding bags of trash being dumped
along a section of Sealy Ridge Road. This case remains under
investigation (1091).
On 12 Apr 04 Tonya R. Taylor, age 21, 2100 Hill
Street Apt. E, Belpre, reported her Clarion CD player and Cobra
radar detector were stolen from her car while impounded for
forty five days at Just Another Muffler in Belpre. This case
remains under investigation (592).
On 12 Apr 04 James M. Butcher, age 56, 100 High
Avenue, Waterford, reported he believes a person known to him
entered his home and stole several items of jewelry valued at
approximately $2,800 on 18 Mar 04. This case remains under investigation
(592).
On 12 Apr 04 an employee of Washington Electric
Cooperative reported a Marietta resident damaged an electric
meter in order to steal electricity service. This case remains
under investigation (1184).
On 12 Apr 04 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes investigated
a domestic dispute between Deborah J. Malcolm, age 52, 113 Brant
Drive, Marietta, and her estranged husband at 355 Greenbrier
Circle, Marietta. Mrs. Malcolm stated that during an argument,
her husband pushed her down causing her to hit her head on a
chair. This case remains under investigation (200).
On 12 Apr 04 Jill Maston, age 50, 631 Olloch Road,
Lowell, reported between 11 Mar and 11 Apr, eight Xanax and
twenty Hydrocodone pills were stolen from their respective prescription
bottles stored in a linen closet in her home. This case remains
under investigation (296).
On 12 Apr 04 Deputy Sheriff Mankins investigated
a single vehicle accident on Warren Chapel Road, one and a half
miles west of State Route 676. Donna M. Pogras, age 51, 20226
State Route 676, Marietta, was traveling westbound on Warren
Chapel Road when she drove off the right side of the roadway,
causing her to lose control of her Toyota, spinning around into
a ditch facing the opposite direction. Based on his investigation
Deputy Mankins issued Ms. Pogras a citation for failure to control.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Jacob Anthony Minnich, age 20, 35 Cedar Street,
Flatwoods, WV, for driving under suspension and speeding, both
misdemeanors. Minnich was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio
State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 12 Apr 04 at 8:05 am.
Jesse Aaron Anderson, age 20, 409 Lord Street
Apt. B, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation,
a felony. Anderson turned himself in to Probation Officer Gilchrist
and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Apr
04 at 3:36 pm.
Steven Blaine Williams, age 39, 1025 Collins Road,
Little Hocking, for violating the terms of his probation, a
misdemeanor. Williams was arrested at the office of Probation
Officer Ketelsen and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 12 Apr 04 at 4:15 pm.
Keith Allen Loar, age 32, 1220 McGrath Road, Macksburg,
for a felony probation violation and a misdemeanor charge of
domestic violence. Loar was picked up at the Noble County Correctional
Facility by Deputy Sheriff Underwood of the Washington County
Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 12 Apr 04 at 4:30 pm.
