On 5 Apr 04 Randy Schwendeman, age 44, 184 Cats Creek Road, Lowell, reported after leaving his home for 24 hours on 3 Apr, he returned to discover a screen removed from a window, the handle on a sliding glass door broken and footprints around the kitchen door. No entry was gained and no items appear to be missing. This case remains under investigation (500).

On 5 Apr 04 Laura J. Brady, age 40, 944 Hickman Road, Waterford, reported as she attempted to retrieve belongings from a home she used to share with her former fiancé, he became angry, pulled her hair and attempted to drag her out of her car. As a result of his investigation, Sgt. Underwood arrested Gary L. Reynolds, age 60, 7965 State Route 550, Vincent, for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail where he was released on a personal recognizance bond.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Ricard H. Fitzsimmons III, age 25, 29 Patterson Avenue, Wheeling, WV, for driving under suspension, a misdemeanor. Fitzsimmons was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Apr 04 at 1:05 am.

Matthew Jason Barnhart, age 22, 715 Greene Street Apt. B, Marietta, for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Barnhart was arrested on Interstate 77 by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Apr 04 at 2:40 am.

Gary Lee Reynolds, age 60, 7965 State Route 550, Vincent, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Reynolds was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Underwood of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Apr 04 at 7:00 pm.
