On 4 Apr 04 Ronald A. Fulton, age 46, 15 Highland
Ridge Road, Marietta, reported after leaving the locked cab
of his tractor trailer on 2 Apr 04, he returned two days later
to discover the lock broken and CB radio stolen out of the cab.
This case remains under investigation (500).
On 4 Apr 04 an employee of Par Mar, 17785 State
Route 7, Marietta, reported the driver of a two door vehicle
with a luggage rack drove off without paying for $14 in gas
at 12:35 pm that day. This case remains under investigation
(1090).
On 4 Apr 04 Richard Binegar, age 65, 1530 Wynncrest
Drive, Marietta, reported an unknown suspect(s) stole a decorative
globe and two plastic bunnies from his yard during the previous
night. This case remains under investigation (200).
On 4 Apr 04 Jeffrey B. Headley, age 46, 1685 Brackenridge
Road, Vincent, reported his dog ran away April of last year
and now he believes it to be stolen. This case remains under
investigation (501).
On 4 Apr 04 Deputy Sheriff Evans initiated a traffic
stop on Caywood Road after observing the driver of the vehicle
acting suspiciously and swerving across the centerline on several
occasions. Upon making contact with the driver, Randall L. Hart,
age 28, 102 Ellsworth Avenue, Marietta, Deputy Evans noticed
a strong odor of alcohol and Mr. Hart admitted to previously
consuming five beers. After performing poorly on field sobriety
tests Mr. Hart was arrested for OVI and transported to the Washington
County Jail. A subsequent search of Mr. Hart at the Washington
County Jail yielded two Vicodin pills, a small quantity of marijuana
and a marijuana-smoking pipe. The charges on Mr. Hart were then
amended to include the possession of the aforementioned items.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Randal Lyle Elliott, 1406 Gihon Road, Parkersburg,
for nonsupport of dependants, a misdemeanor. Elliott was arrested
in Marietta by Patrolman Titus of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Apr 04 at
3:40 am.
Randall Lee Hart, age 28, 108 Ellsworth Drive,
Marietta, for two counts of possession of drugs, .17 breath
OVI and possession of drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors.
Hart was arrested on Caywood Road by Deputy Sheriff Evans of
the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 4 Apr 04 at 12:03 pm.
Heather Barbara McCroy, age 26, 308 Second Street,
New Matamoras, for passing bad checks, a misdemeanor. McCroy
was arrested on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Apr 04 at
3:10 pm.
