On 29 Mar 04 Sandra Brum, age 31, 570 Coal Run
Drive, Beverly, reported between 3 am and 3 pm on that day,
an unknown suspect(s) broke into and vandalized her home and
stole a Playstation 2 with four games, a Susan B. Anthony coin
collection, several other coins and a carton of cigarettes.
This incident remains under investigation (500).
On 29 Mar 04 Linda S. Bradley, age 51, 13140 County
Road 9, New Matamoras, reported she was assaulted in her home
by a person known to her. This incident remains under investigation
(500).
On 29 Mar 04 a Little Hocking woman reported she
has been receiving harassing phone calls for the past month.
This incident remains under investigation (592).
On 29 Mar 04 Deputy Sheriff Evans issued a citation
to Matthew J. Hopes, age 22, 546 Buffington Place, Concord,
NC, for traveling 70 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Evans stopped
Mr. Hopes on State Route 7 near US 50 in Belpre Township.
On 29 Mar 04 Deputy Sheriff Evans issued a citation
to Michael T. Haggard, age 26, 1423 Livingston Street, Covington,
KY, for traveling 79 mph in a 60 mph zone. Deputy Evans stopped
Mr. Haggard on US 50 near State Route 339 in Belpre Township.

Keith Loar, age 32, 1220 McGrath Road, Macksburg,
for domestic violence, as charged by Deputy Sheriff Kapple on
25 Mar 04.
Brent A. Carpenter, age 27, 204 Franklin Street,
Marietta, for contempt for failing to appear in Juvenile Court
on an order to show cause on 22 Mar 04.
Matthew J. Iman, age 36, 984 Coon Run Road, Lower
Salem, for felonious assault, as charged by Detective Johnson
of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office on 25 Mar 04.
David N. Necessary, age 38, last known address
984 Coon Run Road, Lower Salem, for having weapons under disability,
as charged by Deputy Sheriff Gherke on 24 Mar 04.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Raphael Omarr Lemont Ray, age 19, 333 Union Street,
Apartment 111B, Akron, OH was arrested on Interstate 77 by the
Ohio State Highway Patrol on the charges of Driving under Suspension,
and Speed, both misdemeanors. He was processed into the County
Jail on 29 Mar 04 at 10:22 AM.
Traci Lea Schwendeman, age 31, Marysville, OH,
was returned to the County Jail by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien
of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office on the charges
of Illegal Processing of Drug Documents, Trafficking in Drugs,
and Theft, all felonies. She was processed into the County Jail
on 29 Mar 04 at 3:15 PM.
