On 27 Mar 04 James D. Pool, age 46, 20870 State Route 60, Beverly, reported 34 windows on his father’s house at 136 Fair Avenue, Beverly, were broken between the first of March and the twenty seventh. This case remains under investigation (1291).

On 27 Mar 04 Melissa Romick, age 38, 11 Milltown Road Apt. A, Newport, reported she witnessed her ex-boyfriend scratch the rear passenger side of her car. As a result, Deputy Sheriff Norman filed an affidavit requesting a summons for Scott McCabe, age 56, 1204 County House Lane, Marietta, for criminal mischief.

On 27 Mar 04 Patricia A. Rhodes, age 63, 5799 Sherrard Road, Cambridge, reported an unknown person(s) removed an old hand pump from a well on her property at mile marker 6 on State Route 821 in Lowell. This case remains under investigation (597).

On 27 Mar 04 Tracy Rice, age 84, 384 Cats Creek Road, Lowell, reported for the past four weeks her pit bull mix has been missing and she recently found it deceased in a garbage bag over the hill near her property. This case remains under investigation (1291).

The following individual was processed into the Washington County Jail:

Ronald Edward Swanson, age 49, County House Lane, Marietta, failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Swanson was arrested at the Four Seasons by Patrolman Kampmeier of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Mar 04 at 2:10 am.
