On 17 Mar 04 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued a citation
to Benjamin R. Knight, age 25, 200 Belle Meadow Drive, Marietta,
for failure to display his license plate's validation sticker.
Deputy Mankins stopped Mr. Knight at Go Mart on State Route

On 17 Mar 04 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued a citation
to James W. Dunn, age 58, 21000 Stanleyville Narrows Road, Whipple,
for traveling 69 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Mankins stopped
Mr. Dunn on State Route 821 in Muskingum Township.
On 17 Mar 04 Dan Miller, age 42, 3080 Blind Road,
Stockport, reported an unknown suspect(s) removed the batteries
from trucks owned by his logging company while parked on Darnold
Road in Fairfield Township. This case remains under investigation
(586).
On 17 Mar 04 Scott Zimmerman, age 24, State Route
530, Lowell, reported the front and side windows on his Nissan
300ZX were damaged after he left it at the Duke Station in Lowell
after sustaining a flat tire on 15 Mar. This case remains under
investigation (586).
On 17 Mar 04 Deputy Sheriff Jenkins issued a citation
to Michael Emerick, age 45, 4015 Patten Mills Road, Stockport,
for failure to reinstate his license. Deputy Jenkins stopped
Mr. Emerick on State Route 555 near County Road 206 in Wesley
Township.
On 17 Mar 04 Kristine M. Gamble, age 27, 1575
Tick Ridge Road, Vincent, reported an unknown suspect took her
1987 Dodge truck without her permission while she was working
at Country Corner Store in Bartlett. The theft is believed to
have occurred around 3 pm on 17 Mar. This case remains under
investigation (586).
On 17 Mar 04 two employees of Frontier High School
reported seeing an individual known to them driving through
and damaging the grass in front of the high school the evening
on 17 Mar. This case remains under investigation (1184).
On 17 Mar 04 James K. Jones Jr., age 46, 7805
Emerson Avenue Apt. 12, Parkersburg, reported receiving several
phone calls from his ex-girlfriend stating she came to see him
at his parents' cabin on State Route 26 in Marietta and that
she broke a window to gain entry in the cabin because she was
cold. When Deputy Sheriff Norman arrived, Victoria Rose Moore,
age 41, 2105 Hannah Road, Marietta, was in the cabin and admitting
breaking a window to gain entry. As a result, Deputy Norman
arrested Ms. Moore for burglary and transported her to the Washington
County Jail.
On 17 Mar 04, Deputy Sheriff Brown investigated
the report of an assault between two teenage females at a residence
on Wentz Road in Marietta. This case remains under investigation.

the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
John Wayne Luke, age 42, 208 Market Street, Marietta,
for failing to appear to serve five days in the Washington County
Jail. Luke was originally charged with using weapons while intoxicated
by Detective Sirianni of the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office.
Jamie L. Zimmer, age 28, 316 Franklin Street, Marietta, for
driving under suspension and failure to obey a traffic control
device, as charged by the Ohio State Highway Patrol on 29 Jan
04.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Andrew Joseph Brooker, age 18, 705 BF Goodrich
Road, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Brooker
was
arrested on Gilman Avenue by Deputy Sheriff Brockmeier of the
Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 17 Mar 04 at 11:14 am.
Victoria Rose Moore, age 41, 2105 Hannah Road, Marietta, for
burglary, a felony.
Moore was arrested on State Route 26 by Deputy Sheriff Norman
of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 17 Mar 04 at 4:30 pm.
