On 16 Mar 04 a Washington County resident reported
she was the target of a fraudulent scheme after she was contacted
by an individual requesting money in exchange for a prize. This
case was forwarded to the FBI for further investigation (953).
On 16 Mar 04 Deputy Sheriff Simmons was dispatched
to the home of Vanita Dunn, age 38, 85 Dunn Lane, New Matamoras,
to investigate a domestic dispute.
An investigation concluded Ms. Dunn was involved in an argument
with another family member and culminated into her choking
the
family member. As a result, Deputy Simmons arrested Ms. Dunn
for domestic violence and transported her to the Washington
County Jail.
On 16 Mar 04 Susan Yonker, age 36, 693 Moody Ridge Road, Vincent,
reported during the overnight hours of 15 Mar, an unknown suspect(s)
damaged the lid of her mailbox.
This case remains under investigation (586).
On 16 Mar 04 Deputy Sheriff Brockmeier issued a citation to
Melody A. Hall, age 20, 22356 State Route 83 North, Beverly,
for driving under a suspended license.
Deputy Brockmeier made contact with Ms. Hall after seeing her
acting suspiciously before pulling into the Corner Store on
State Route 339.
On 16 Mar 04 Barb L. Mincks, age 44, 60 Warner Second Street,
Lower Salem, reported her purse and its contents were stolen
from her vehicle between 11 pm on 15 Mar and 9 am on 16 Mar.
This case remains under investigation (586).
On 16 Mar 04 Arthur J. Hart, age 70, 545 Tick
Hill Road, Lowell, reported when he visited his property on
Turkey Hen Road, Fleming, on 10 Mar, he discovered an unknown
suspect(s) had dumped trash on it. This case remains under investigation
(695).
On 16 Mar 04 Marvin J. Arnold, age 40, 1650 Watertown
Road, Waterford, reported the same suspect dumping trash on
Lakeside Golf Course is also using the course’s dumpster
without permission. This case remains under investigation (695).
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Andrew J. Brooker, age 18, 705 BF Goodrich Road,
Marietta, for being a delinquent juvenile.
Robert J. Brotton Jr., age 37, last known address 107 Jefferson
Drive, Caldwell, for telephone harassment, as charged by Deputy
Sheriff Norman on 5 Mar 04.
Dennis M. Fiscus, age 61, 284 Danforth Street, Portland, ME,
for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $945.50.
Fiscus was originally charged with the unauthorized use of
property by Deputy Sheriff Eddy on 28 Jan 04.
Robert M. Parrish, age 27, no known address, a sexual predator,
for failure to provide the Sheriff’s Office with a written
notice of a residence change.
Lance J. Vance, age 31, PO Box 562, New Matamoras, for contempt
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines
in the sum of $670.
Vance was originally charged with disorderly conduct by Corrections
Officer Reeder of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
Matthew S. West, age 32, 1204 Latrobe Street, Parkersburg,
for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on
unpaid fines in the sum of $190.
West was originally charged with theft by Sgt. Hiatt of the
Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Bryan Leroy Fickiesen, age 36, 75 Hearn Road,
Reno, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
Fickiesen was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Mankins
of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 16 Mar 04 at 5:30 am.
Vanita Annette Dunn, age 38, 85 Dunn Lane, New
Matamoras, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
Dunn was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Simmons
of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 16 Mar 04 at 9:18 pm.
