On 10 Mar 04 the Sheriff’s Office was called to investigate a report concerning the death of a 96 year old Lowell woman. Foul play is not suspected, the death appears to be due to natural causes.

On 10 Mar 04 Teresa Tilton, age 34, reported after leaving her home for several hours, she returned to find an unknown suspect(s) had broken windows, damaged lawn furniture and pulled a hose from her pool causing it to lose water. This case remains under investigation (500).

On 10 Mar 04 Deputy Sheriff Coppernoll began an investigation into the existence of an abundant amount of junk vehicles along State Route 821 after receiving numerous anonymous phone calls regarding the vehicles. This case remains under investigation (695).

On 10 Mar 04 a Belpre woman reported receiving several unwanted phone calls from her estranged husband. This incident remains under investigation (232).

On 10 Mar 04 Thomas E. Morrison, age 59, 970 Dixon Ridge Road, Lowell, reported between 1 pm on 9 Mar and 10 am on 10 Mar, an unknown suspect(s) entered his barn and stole a Yamaha ATV and three horse saddles. This case remains under investigation (1091).

On 10 Mar 04 a local business reported an unknown suspect is using a company credit card without permission.
This case remains under investigation (501).

On 10 Mar 04 the owner of Ritchey’s Detail Shop, 105 Ellsworth Avenue, Marietta, reported between 4 and 6 Mar, an unknown suspect(s) tampered with a coin operated machine in an apparent attempt to gain access to the machine. This case remains under investigation (1203).

On 10 Mar 04 Denise F. Keyes, age 32, 45 Goose Run Road, Marietta, reported an unknown suspect used her personal information without permission to open a cell phone account in Columbus. This case remains under investigation (1203).

Frankie Estep, age 39, 2861 Route 2, Elizabeth, WV, for OVI, driving under suspension and speeding, all misdemeanors. Estep was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Mar 04 at 3:35 am.

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Kenneth W. Nichols, age 38, 715 Barclay Street Lot 46, Belpre, for first offense OVI and failure to register, as charged by the Ohio State Highway Patrol on 22 Jan 03.

Danny D. Simons, age 30, 312 Jackson Avenue, Cuyahoga Falls, OH, for driving under suspension, as charged by the Ohio State Highway Patrol on 1 Jan 04.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Randall Craig Wilson, age 46, 2288 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Wilson was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Eddy of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Mar 04 at 2:30 pm.

Wesley Duane Lincoln, age 19, 955 Mitchell Lane, Marietta, for domestic violence and violating a protection order, both misdemeanors. Lincoln was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Mar 04 at 8:25 pm.
