On 9 Mar 04 Rocky D. Huck, age 22, State Route 60, Beverly, reported after a verbal confrontation in the parking lot of Flops Bar, Jason W. Ross, age 28, PO Box 64, Coal Run, threw a beer can and damaged the custom paint job on Mr. Huck’s Chrysler Sebring. As a result, Deputy Sheriff McLeish filed an affidavit requesting a summons for Mr. Ross for criminal damaging, in violation of Section 2909.06 of the Ohio Revised Code.

On 9 Mar 04 an employee of Burt Buildings and Supplies, 4815 State Route 339, reported receiving three bad checks totaling $73.87 from the same individual during a nine day span in June of 2003. This case remains under investigation (8411).

On 9 Mar 04 an employee of Burt Buildings and Supplies reported receiving two bad checks totaling $86.90 from the same individual in June of 2003. This case remains under investigation (8411).

On 9 Mar 04 an employee of Pioneer Chevrolet, 1315 Pike Street, Marietta, reported receiving a bed check for $302.89 on 13 Jan 04 as payment for body work on a vehicle. This case remains under investigation (8411).

On 9 Mar 04 Deputy Sheriff Eddy investigated a report of tires being burned illegally at 2288 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent. This case remains under investigation (945).

On 9 Mar 04 Gary Ganguillet, age 57, 1094A Clement Avenue, Belpre, reported an unknown suspect(s) in a vehicle with a yellow driver’s door stole two buckets of asphalt sealer and possibly the cords off a washer and dryer outside the aforementioned address.
This case remains under investigation (945).

On 9 Mar 04 Micah W. Griffiths, age 27, 1153 Long Run Road, Newport, reported an unknown suspect(s) entered his home between 10 pm on 8 Mar and 3:30 am on 9 Mar and stole a number of DVD’s, CD’s and clothing. The suspect(s) also muddied the floor, fill the trash with beer cans and urinate on the floor. This case remains under investigation (1184).

Gary Lee Jackson Jr., age 22, 300 Phillips Street, Marietta, for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Jackson was arrested on Front Street by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Mar 04 at 12:18 am.

Jesse Scott Books, age 21, 213 Curtis Boulevard, Belpre, for a felony probation violation from another state and criminal trespassing, a misdemeanor. Books was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Morris of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Mar 04 at 1:20 am.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Chad Stephen Greenleaf, age 33, 1505 Beaver Street, Parkersburg, for violating the terms of his probation and failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, both misdemeanors. Greenleaf was arrested in Belpre by Lt. Huffer of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Mar 04 at 10:40 am.

Kevin Cole Siegfried, age 23, 502 Warren Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation and 3rd offense OVI, both misdemeanors. Siegfried was arrested at Marietta Municipal Court by Probation Officer Hamilton and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Mar 04 at 11:40 am.

Anthony Paul Thompson, age 37, Wyatt Street, Belpre, for violating the terms of his probation a misdemeanor. Thompson was arrested at Marietta Municipal Court by Probation Officer Hamilton and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Mar 04 at 12:15 pm.

Jared Lee Gillespie, age 30, 14403 State Route 676, Waterford, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Gillespie was arrested at the jail by Deputy Sheriff Carr of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Mar 04 at 3:15 pm.

Michael Linn McCulloch, age 22, 705 Seventh Avenue, Paden City, WV, for driving under suspension and no seatbelt, both misdemeanors. McCulloch was arrested on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Mar 04 at 3:38 pm.

Justin Bryce Davis, age 21, 416 Arnold Road, Lowell, failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Davis was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Mar 04 at 3:45 pm.

Robert Vance Hardy Sr., age 45, 105 Bear Run Road, Reno, for corruption of a minor, a felony. Hardy was arrested at his residence by Detective Wells of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Mar 04 at 6:00 pm.

Michael Eric Hoffert, age 21, 161 Wells Avenue, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Hoffert was arrested at in Marietta by Patrolman Hearn of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Mar 04 at 11:00 pm.
