On 4 Mar 04 Lt. Canavan and Deputy Sheriffs
Rhodes and Simmons were dispatched to the home of Tonya Woodley,
age
38, 158 Forshey Road, Marietta, to investigate a domestic dispute.
Ms. Woodley reported she and her live in boyfriend Jack W.
Longfellow,
age 29, were involved in an argument and Mr. Longfellow threw
her to the bed by her hair and later damaged a candle holder
and two doors in the residence by kicking them.
Deputy Simmons arrested Mr. Longfellow for domestic violence,
criminal damaging and for possession of drug paraphernalia
found
during the investigation and transported him to the Washington
County Jail.
On 4 Mar 04 Peggy Wells, age 36, 707 Fourth Street,
New Matamoras, reported two juveniles took her vehicle without
permission, drove through a field on Old Camp Road, crashed
into a creek, then fled into the woods. This case remains under
investigation (597).
On 4 Mar 04 Debra Little, age 42, 545 Coal Run
Road, Marietta, reported an unknown suspect, apparently in desperate
need of a shower, entered her locked home, showered, leaving
a wet towel and washcloth on the floor, sat on the couch, then
left without taking anything. This case remains under investigation
(586).
On 4 Mar 04 Lester Dye, age 66, 1431 Brownsville Road, New
Matamoras, reported an unknown suspect driving a white truck,
dumped a
bathroom sink on his property at 2 pm on 3 Mar 04.
This case remains under investigation (597).
On 4 Mar 04 Charles Snedeker, age 51, 788
Layman Road, Vincent, reported he was assaulted by an acquaintance
at 50 Dye Street, Newport, while attempting to collect on a
debt.
This case remains under investigation (586).
On 4 Mar 04 David Hughes Sr., age 40, 28 Town
Hall Road, Marietta, reported he and his sons were accosted
by a group of individuals wanting to fight. The confrontation
ended before escalating into a brawl.
This case remains under investigation (1090).
On 4 Mar 04, an employee at Waterford High
School reported a student repeatedly shouted obscenities at
him.
Charges have been filed against the juvenile for being unruly
(1203).
On 4 Mar 04 Sgt. Hiatt stopped a vehicle on
Muskingum Drive after observing it twice going left of center.
A computer check showed the driver, David H. Chisolm, age 40,
112 Maple Street, Marietta, had an outstanding warrant through
Marietta Municipal Court and was driving under a suspended
license.
Sgt. Hiatt arrested Mr. Chisolm and transported him to the
Washington County Jail.
On 4 Mar 04 Deputy Sheriff Kapple issued a citation
to a 16 year old Marietta girl for traveling 55 mph in a 40
mph zone while on Warrior Drive near County Road 804 in Barlow
Township.
On 4 Mar 04 a representative of Napoli’s
Pizza, 14 Arrowhead Road, Little Hocking, reported the same
suspect wrote three bad checks totaling $58.53 during a two
day span in November of 2003. This case remains under investigation
(8411).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
David Houston Chisolm, age 40, 112 Maple Street,
Marietta, OH, was arrested on Colegate Drive by Deputy Sheriff
Hiatt of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office for Operating
a Motor Vehicle while under the Influence and Driving under
Suspension, both misdemeanor charges. Chisolm was processed
into the Washington County Jail on 4 Mar 04 at 9:15 am.
Jennifer Lynn Parrish, age 23, 1741 Twin Bridge Road, Little
Hocking, was arrested on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol for Operating a Motor Vehicle while under the Influence
and No Operator’s License, both misdemeanor charges.
Parrish was processed into the County Jail on 4 Mar 04 at
4:45
PM.
Brenton Dean Metz, age 20, 502 Fourth Street, Apartment B, Williamstown,
WV, was arrested at the Marietta Wal-Mart by Patrolman Mitchell
of the Marietta City Police Department for Theft, a misdemeanor.
Metz was processed into the County Jail on 04 Mar 04 at 9:28
PM.
Anthony Eugene Boswell, age 23, 800 Sheets Run Road, Marietta,
OH, was arrested on Florence Street, Belpre by Patrolman Sams
of the Belpre City Police Department for No Operator’s
License and Failure to Yield at Flashing Light, both misdemeanor
charges.
Boswell was processed into the County Jail on 4 Mar 04 at 10:04
PM.
