On 12 Feb 04, Richard T. Antill, age 48, 680 Upper
Fifteen Mile Creek Road, Wingett Run, visited the Sheriff’s
Office to report he struck a deer while traveling northbound
on State Route 26 near milepost 4. Mr. Antill reported no injuries
and his Chevy station wagon sustained only non-functional damage
(945).
On 12 Feb 04 Deputy Sheriff Jenkins issued a citation to Kelly
M. Jordan-Boggs, age 24, 9880 Busy Road Northwest, Canal Winchester,
OH, for traveling 83 mph in a 55 mph zone.
The violation occurred on State Route 7 near County Road 51
in Belpre Township.
On 12 Feb 04 an employee of the 50A Carryout, 15918 State Route
550, Fleming, reported an individual driving a white Chevy Cavalier
drove off without paying for $17.01 in gasoline on 28 Jan 04.
This case remains under investigation (698).
On 12 Feb 04 Deputy Sheriffs Kapple and Evans were dispatched
to the Wrangler Tavern, 6675 State Route 821, Whipple, subsequent
to an employee reporting two males would not leave the bar after
being asked to do so. John David O’Brien Sr., age 48,
96 Main Street, Lower Salem, was arrested for criminal trespassing
and violating his probation and William Eugene O’Brien,
age 39, PO Box 95, Buffalo, OH, for criminal trespassing.
Both men were transported to and processed into the Washington
County Jail.

Office received the following warranTS:
Randal L. Elliott, age 39, 1406 Gihon Road Lot
36, Parkersburg, WV, for contempt for failing to appear at a
hearing on an order to show cause.
Gerald L. Miller, age 36, 523 Dennision Avenue, Akron, OH, for
possession of drug paraphernalia, as charged by the Ohio State
Highway Patrol on 4 Oct 03.
David M. Moore, age 27, 2412 Covert Street Apt. 47, Parkersburg,
WV, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to obtain
a valid operator’s license or failing to appear to serve
three days in jail on 3 Nov 03. Moore was originally charged
with operating without a license by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Tiffany L. Morrison, age 33, 733 Eighth Street, Marietta, for
failure to confine or restrain a dog on 14 Dec 04.
The following individuals were
processed into the Washington County Jail:
Samuel Lee Damron, age 27, 197 Faye Avenue Lot
B, Marietta, for three felony counts of violating the terms
of his probation. Damron was arrested on Faye Avenue by Patrolman
Sury of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 12 Feb 04 at 1:50 am.
Sarah Fannie Kovacs, age 23, 3028 North Carolina
Avenue North, Charleston, SC, for felony charges of breach
of
recognizance and contempt of a court order as well as a misdemeanor
charge of failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines.
Kovacs turned herself in to Deputy Sheriff Sears of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington
County Jail on 12 Feb 04 at 8:10 am.
William Eugene O’Brien, age 39, PO Box 95, Buffalo, OH,
for criminal trespassing, a misdemeanor.
O’Brien was arrested at the Wrangler Tavern by Deputy
Sheriff Evans of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Feb 04 at
7:35 pm.
John David O’Brien Sr., age 48, 96 Main Street, Lower
Salem, for criminal trespassing and for a violation of his probation,
both misdemeanors. O’Brien was arrested at the Wrangler
Tavern by Deputy Sheriff Evans of the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Feb
04 at 7:45 pm.
