On 9 Feb 04 Jerry L. Treadway, age 46, 20370 State Route 676, reported after he stopped and activated the lights on his school bus to pick up a student, a white four door Plymouth passed the bus illegally. This case remains under investigation (1071).

On 9 Feb 04 Deputy Sheriff Willson investigated a two vehicle accident in the parking lot of Kardex at 27805 State Route 7, Marietta. After determining he was going the wrong direction on Kardex Drive, Gregory R. Imars, age 50, 535 Clarion Drive Box 291, Vermillion, OH, was backing a loaded Sysco tractor trailer when he struck a stationary GMC truck driven by Kurt D. Watkins, age 25, PO Box 92, Middlebourne, WV. Mr. Watkins’ vehicle sustained minor damage and no injuries were reported.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Scott Allen Haughey, age 18, address unknown, Marietta, for receiving stolen property, a felony, and assault, a misdemeanor. Haughey was arrested on State Route 7 by Patrolman Wenzel of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Feb 04 at 10:20 am.

Matthew Shane Schwalbauch, age 18, 141 York Street, Circleville, OH, for receiving stolen property, a felony, and assault, a misdemeanor. Haughey was arrested on State Route 7 by Patrolman Wenzel of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Feb 04 at 10:20 am.
