On 26 Jan 04 Hester J. Groves, age 40, 44A Williamson
Avenue, New Matamoras, reported during an argument over clothing,
her daughter Jessica M. Parsons, age 20, became violent and
punched and kicked her. Ms. Parsons was arrested for domestic
violence and transported to the Washington County Jail (1184).
On 26 Jan 04 Lt. Huffer was dispatched to 1253 Sealy Ridge
Road, Vincent, after Misty D. Blind, age 20, reported her father
Howard,
age 56, slapped her in the face. In an attempt to avoid further
conflict Ms. Blind phoned Tim Lupardus, age 43, 42 Reynolds
Lane, Vincent, to come and get her.
While Ms. Blind and Mr. Lupardus left the scene, Mr. Blind
attempted to open the driver’s door causing Mr. Lupardus
to lose control of the vehicle and go over an embankment.
It turns out that Mr. Lupardus had been drinking heavily and
driving under a suspended license.
Mr. Blind was arrested for domestic violence, Mr. Lupardus
for OVI and driving under suspension.
Both were then transported to the Washington County Jail.
On 26 Jan 04 the Sheriff’s Office responded to the report
of the death of a Little Hocking resident.
Foul play is not expected, however the cause of death is unknown
at this time. This case remains under investigation (684).
On 26 Jan 04 an employee of Dunham Square, 3938 State Route
339, Belpre, reported a suspect driving a white Chevy drove
off without paying for $19.35 worth of gas. This case remains
under investigation (1071).

Parsons was arrested in New Matamoras by Deputy Sheriff Simmons
of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 26 Jan 04 at 1:40 pm.
Amy Elizabeth Roser, age 27, 1207 Lynch Church Road, Marietta,
for a violation of her probation, a misdemeanor.
Roser was arrested by Probation Officer Ferrell at his office
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Jan 04
at
3:55 pm.
Christopher Ryan Landaker, age 19, 108 Sacra Via, Marietta,
for driving under suspension and not wearing a seat belt, both
misdemeanors. Landaker was arrested at the Ohio State Highway
Patrol office and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 26 Jan 04 at 8:19 pm.
Howard David Blind, age 46, 1221 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
Blind was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Mankins
of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 26 Jan 04 at 9:17 pm.
Timothy Wayne Lupardus, age 43, Reynolds Lane, Vincent, for
OVI and OVI suspension, both misdemeanors.
Lupardus was arrested in Vincent by Deputy Sheriff Mankins
of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 26 Jan 04 at 9:30 pm.
