On 23 Jan 04 an employee of Napoli’s
Pizza reported the same suspect wrote two bad checks totaling
$32.50
for orders placed at their Little Hocking location on 1 and
5 Dec 03.
This case remains under investigation (8411).
On 23 Jan 04 Deputy Sheriff Mankins filed
an affidavit requesting a summons for Donald E. Main, age 54,
50510 State
Route 7, New Matamoras, for domestic violence, a first degree
misdemeanor violation of Section 2919.25 of the Ohio Revised
Code.
Deputy Mankins filed the affidavit succeeding an incident on
22 Jan 04.
On 23 Jan 04 an employee of Warren High School, 130 Warrior
Drive, Vincent, reported a student turned in a plastic baggie
that contained the following pills: six Ultracet 650’s,
two Acetaminophen 500’s, one Darvocet N-100, seven Zyrtecs
and a hydracodone 500.
This case remains under investigation (200).
On 23 Jan 04 Deputy Sheriff Simmons investigated a hit-skip
accident in the parking lot of Cedarbark Village Apartments,
Marietta. An unidentified vehicle struck a parked Dodge Neon
owned by Sundena J. Handschumacher, 335 Handschumacher Road,
Marietta, then fled the scene.
This incident remains under investigation.
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Judith F. Sergent, age 49, 605 Pearl Street,
Marietta, OH, for Contempt for failure to report to the Washington
County Jail to serve 3 days on the charge of Operating a Motor
Vehicle while under the Influence, 2 nd offense. Sergent was
charged by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
Matthew L. Jones, age 19, 509 Front Street, Marietta, OH, for
a Probation Violation for failing to appear for a scheduled
appointment on 14 Jan 04. Jones was previously charged with
Underage Consumption by Patrolman Hickey of the Marietta City
Police Department.
Roger N. Daugherty, age 46, 407 Montgomery Street, Marietta,
OH, for a Probation Violation for failing to appear at the
Washington
County Jail to serve 7 days on the charge of Menacing.
Daugherty was previously charged with Menacing by Patrolman
Mitchell of the Marietta City Police Department.
Kimberly Hartshorn, age 40, 502 West Fourth Street, Apartment
B, Williamstown, WV, for Probation Violation for failing to
work any court ordered supervised community service, make regular
fine payments, or pay anything on court ordered restitution
to Green Meadow Veterinary Hospital. Hartshorn was previously
charged with Passing Bad Checks by Deputy Sheriff Tornes of
the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
Mark Van Buren, 4832 Keller Road Southwest, Hebron, OH, for
Contempt of a Court Order, for failing to appear on a debtor’s
exam on 9 Jan 04.
Donald E. Murphy, age 25, Route 1 Box 220, Newport, OH, for
Contempt of a Court Order for failing to appear on a debtor’s
exam on 9 Jan 04.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Derek Alan Byington, age 24, 356 Williams Road,
Wilmington, OH, for OVI and failure to reinstate his operator’s
license, both misdemeanors. Byington was arrested on Greene
Street by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Jan 04 at
1:30 am.
Gene Duane Craig, age 31, 306 Colgate Drive,
Marietta, for assault, a misdemeanor.
Craig was arrested on Orchard Street by Deputy Sheriff Sears
of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 23 Jan 04 at 2:26 pm.
