On 16 Dec 03 Deputy Sheriff Sgt. Hiatt issued
a citation to Margarita L. Rubio, age 60, 147 Rauch Drive, Marietta,
for failure to obey a traffic control device. Ms. Rubio neglected
to stop at a stop sign before turning from Sunnyview Drive to
Tennis Center Drive in Reno.
On 16 Dec 03 an instructor at the Washington County Career
Center, 21740 State Route 676, Marietta, reported he caught
two 17 year
old males smoking marijuana on school grounds.
Based on sources provided, Deputy Sheriff Eddy filed an affidavit
requesting summonses for the juveniles for being delinquent.
On 16 Dec 03 Deputy Sheriff Jobes was dispatched
to the home of Janet A. Roberts, age 46, 127 Pine Drive, Little
Hocking, regarding a domestic dispute. Mrs. Roberts stated
her
brother, who resides with her, threatened to cut her after
an argument concerning an overnight guest.
Eyewitness accounts concur with statements made by Mrs. Roberts
therefore Deputy Jobes filed an affidavit requesting a summons
for Alan D. Mills, age 40, for domestic violence, a violation
of section 2919.25(C) of the Ohio Revised Code.
The Washington County
Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:
Russell J. Tuten, age 20, #1 Church Street, Vincent,
OH, for a probation violation for failing to show proof of completing
24 hours of supervised community service, for failing to make
regular fine payments and for not keeping in contact with his
probation officer as ordered by the Marietta Municipal Court.
Tuten was previously charged with passing bad checks by Patrolman
Newell of the Marietta City Police Department.
Carlos R. Munoz, age 30, 612 Ninth Street, Marietta, OH, for
contempt of a court order.
Munoz was charged by the Washington County Child Support Enforcement
Agency.

The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Roger D. Miller, age 56, 830 Tadpole Road, Belpre,
for a misdemeanor charge of passing bad checks. Miller was arrested
at his residence by Deputy Sears of the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Dec
03 at 10:15 am.
Scott E. Bragg, age 24, 1503 Windsor Drive, Charleston
WV, for misdemeanor charges of receiving stolen property and
possession of drug paraphernalia. Bragg was arrested on Pike
Street by Patrolman Hickey of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Dec 03 at
4:25 am.
Laura S. Walden, age 20, 332 D Mill Creek Road, Charleston,
WV, for possession of drug instrument and of drug paraphernalia.
Walden was arrested on Pike Street by Patrolman Hickey of the
Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 16 Dec 03 at 4:50 am.
Richard D. Bailey, age 47, Route 8 Box 293A, Marietta, for
misdemeanor charges of breach of recognizance, disorderly conduct
for fighting
and disorderly conduct by intoxication.
Bailey was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of the
Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 17 Dec 03 at 3:10 am.
